Tickets for the Preseason Games...
Anyone interested. I’m not in the area anymore and can only afford to come up for one or two games if I pinch real hard, and my folks cannot go as much anymore. We would be willing to sell up to two Regular Season Games for each Preseason Game purchased at face value. Section 133 Row 25.
I used to go to every game when I lived in town, life goes on.

15th is a walk thru
Because they have a game against the Jets on the 16th. Always a walk-thru the day before a game.

Autograph night is on Friday August 6th
Thats accordng to Giants.com thats probably your best chance for any autographs but I’m not sure what they do on normal days I drove all the way out to Albany last year for autograph night and it was a good time.

I feel ya BB
I’ve never been half a country away from East Rutherford, but I did grow up in Vermont. Traveling seven hours to go to a Giants game was something we couldn’t make time for, nor afford back in the day.
Once we moved to New Jersey I started going to games every opportunity available, but now I don’t get to Fenway (where the Red Sox play) more than once or twice a year.
Have you been before?

Not Yet
I have not been to any games. When I was in Dallas I could not afford it in my early days there then when I could afford it I just could not be in that stadium which had that very ugly blue star. You may not realize this but the Cowboys fans can be very obnoxious and I have had some bad experiences in my own Dallas just for wearing my Giants colors even on the street. I just could not enter their stadium (repeat:) with their ugly blue star.
When I moved to Phoenix area (1998), I have worked Sundays here and it is hard for me to go see the games and since Giants games here do sell out we can see it on tv anyway. (Until recently other games were blacked out but Giants and Cowboys games always sold out). When the superbowl came into town I had the same problem that I had to work that day even after I tried my best to work my schedule (the employee who was going to work that day quit the day before). I watched the 1st half at my store and caught 2nd half at home.
So I have never met any current or former Giants player(s) except for one time. Some years ago I saw a tall guy who I recognized as a football player who had played for us then had moved here to play for the Cardinals. I asked him if he used to play football and he said yes. I told him I am a Giants fan. He told me his first name. I said ok nice to meet you David and walked away. I would have talked to him but our former QB was wearing that ugly blue star on his shorts and he had never played for that team. Grrrrr.
The only time I was going to be able to watch a game live was the preseason Giants-Jets game in 2004 because I was going to be in NY attending a political convention as a member of the Arizona delegation. I had it all planned to go and watch the game and miss some of the parties at the hotel etc, but I got sick and did not even go to NYC.
But I know one day I will attend the games live. Until now I have been a Giants fan in theory and practice in all other ways.

You are by no means a Giants fan in theory.
That I’m sure everyone here will agree with. Anyone who is posting about New York Giants football in the middle of July is not an average fan. People like us are not normal in the sense that we have a connection to this team that we need filled on a daily basis, even when the team is not in season.
I hope you get to come and see the new stadium sometime soon, and when you do I would love to be there to share a beer and toss a football in the parking lot before kickoff.
By the way, who was the quarterback you met?

I have gone to...
Dallas the last 2 years to see our Giants play the Cowboys and never had any issues with anyone. A little heckling but nothing extreme the first year was the hardest since we lost in the old Texas Stadium, but last year was a walk in the park nobody said a word since the Giants won the game and if you look at my profile pic you clearly see me at the first regular season game at the new Cowboy stadium wearing my Jacobs jersey. I not scared of anyone out there very nice and friendly people that I met.
Don’t feel bad I live 20 minutes from the stadium and can’t afford tickets to go to very many either. I have been to 2 games in the last 3 years here in NJ but I do my best when I can track some tickets down. By the way these PSL’s just made it even worse lol.
I previously worked for a cell phone provider and had the opportunity of meeting a few giants players there in the store a few I can remember are Bradshaw, Plax (I actually met him a few months before the Super Bowl who knew he was gonna catch our game winning td?), Hefty Lefty Lorenzen Wright, Zak Deossie, Robert Henderson from our practice squad, and I briefly met another 15 last year on autograph night at training camp they all signed my autograph football.

Nice Collection
You sure have a nice collection of memories there with the players and watching the games live. Nice move on Jacob’s jersey at the cowboys stadium.
I am from Dallas & have had many personal experiences over many years with their teams fans when I used to live there. There were incidences on the streets etc during and off season. It was just a personal decision not to step in their stadium otherwise they dont scare me. All my relatives seem to be cowboys fans too so lol.
I realize that those infamous PSLs messed up a lot of loyal Giants fans and ticket holders.
LET"S GO GIANTS!

Yea have been a Giants fan for as long as I can remember
but was never a season ticket holder they were always too expensive for me. I’m only 25 so I couldn’t afford to buy any till my 20’s now with the psl’s they are too expensive again and I won’t be buying anything again.
I only went to dallas two years ago cause one of my best friends is a huge Cowboy fan and he wanted to go to Texas Stadium before they tore the place down, and I went last year again cause it was the season opener giants were in town and my other good friend wanted to go too another cowboy fan so I was alone in Cowboy country as a Giants fan but I got the last laugh.

Darn
It sucks the judge kicked out the best parts of the immig law in AZ. I was looking forward to the lesser number of Cowboys fans in Phoenix area. lol

altho i'm mad from a personal standpoint the giants won't hold training camp in NJ
i’m so looking forward to reading your daily training camp updates Ed. Before joining BBV i never had a place to look for for daily training camp info, now i do. You will be going again this year right?
Anyone going to Indy?
No practices or pre-season for me. I might be heading up to NY for the Week 1 game against the Panthers. One of the Panther’s rookies is the son of my Dad’s secretary. So, I’m trying to workk that connection to get seats for that game.
But, even if that doesn’t work out – I was lucky enough to score tickets to the Manning Bowl in week 2. Perfect seats in almost every fashion – 40 yd line club seats, 5 rows up from the field BUT -- they’re behind the Colts bench. I’m going to have to really keep myself in check admist a bunch of Colts fans!
I’ve only ever seen the Giants play once before – when they played the Jags in Jax 4 years ago, so the fact I could possibly be going to back to back games is a miracle to me. First regular season game in the new stadium AND the Manning Bowl? What more could a girl ask for? :)
