I decided to go back and share the New York Giants 2010 draft class' rankings when they were mere high schoolers searching for which universities to attend. Some come from humble beginnings, not the apple of any recruiters eye, others come highly touted and heavily recruited. Here we begin from 1st pick (Jason Pierre-Paul) to the 7th and final pick (Matt Dodge):
1) Jason Pierre-Paul, 6"6' 265lbs.: 2009 4 star DE, #6 Junior College prospect in the country.
2) Linval Joseph, 6'6" 308lbs.: 2007 3 star prospect, 44th best OT ( yes he was recruited as an OL) in the country. 59th best player in the Florida top 100.
3) Chad Jones, 6'3" 220lbs.: 2007 5 star prospect, #1 at safety position in the nation, #14 best player nationally, #2 best prospect in the state of Louisiana.
4) Phillip Dillard, listed at 6'2" 245lbs.: 2005 4 star prospect at ILB, #5 at position in the nation, #76 best player nationally, #3 best prospect in the state of Oklahoma.
5) Mitch Petrus: 2005, No information because he was a walk-on at Arkansas.
6) Adrian Tracy: 2005, No information because he was a walk-on at William & Mary.
7) Matt Dodge: 2005, No information because he was a walk-on at Appalachian State.
