Giants sign Chad Jones
Jones, the team's third-round pick (No. 76 overall), will soon sign the deal, which will be worth slightly less than the four-year, $2.638-million contract the Bears gave safety Major Wright, who was selected one slot before Jones. Wright received a signing bonus of $848,000.
