Giants By The Numbers: 35 Is For ...
Nobody.
Believe it or not, I am taking a pass on this number. In the entire history of the franchise, I can't find a player worthy of having this number referred to as "his."
So, apologies to Kevin Dockery (2006-2009), Andre Weathers (1999-2000), Ike Forte (1981) and everyone else who has worn this number.
The next Giant who truly wears the 35 with distinction will be the first to do so.

Could be Chad Jones
I think the Giants have given #35 to Chad Jones. If that’s the case, he may have the best chance in Giants history to give some distinction to this number.
When my son is drafted by the Giants
I’ll be sure to have him where #35 just so Ed will have someone to put in this spot.
Yes, I'll help you start it
He’s a 2’6" safety, but what he lacks in size he makes up for with heart! He is as lethal to receivers going across the middle as he is to a box of crackers at snack time. He smacks the ball out of the air like he would smack a kid that took his toy. On a safety blitz, he goes for the quarterback as he would go for candy in a bowl.
This is where Joe Morris screwed up...
Instead of taking Jimmy Patton’s #20, he should have insisted on taking #35, a suitable running back’s number, and then he too could join the parade of “most honored”, and we wouldn’t have this “hole” at #35.
Sure....right after
we petetion to change the score of a certain Super Bowl that never happened ;-D
Well ...
If it never happened, what’s to change? LOL!!

Dockery
Does it count if he is really good in Madden? haha. I think Aaron Ross should change his number from 31 to 35. He probably wont ever be what Sehorn was or could have been, so why not take a shot at 35 haha.
