Terrell Thomas vs aaron ross?

Like the LB situation, this happens to be another significant camp battle this year. Obviously Terrell Thomas stepped in and started last year because Ross was injured. Thomas played well during AR's time off. Ross came back and Coughlin didn't make a change at the CB position (or more because our safeties stunk)

To me -- it appears as if Thomas already stole his job seeing how TT's 2009 season was better than any of Ross' past seasons. A.R at times "flashes" his potential but he's very inconsistent. He had a below average year in 2008 and dealt with problems mentally too (motivation) and even questioned his desire to continue to play football. Thomas in his two years with the Giants has been an over-achiever, a hard worker, and showed some playmaking ability. As a matter of fact, in my opinion, I think Terrell Thomas IS the starter and Ross needs to get it back by himself. Thomas played last year like he deserved to be a unanimous starter in 2010 while barely anyone else did. I think the starting job in 2010 is not T2's to lose but for Ross to gain. If Ross can't get his starting job back next year, as a top 20 pick, he may be considered officially a bust. Not a bust as in "trade the man immediately", but a huge disappointment for what was expected of him. (He may even be already but it's too early)

Anyway that's my two cents on the whole thing. Who do you think starts as our #2 CB in 2010? Hell, you never know, Terrell and Ross both start and Webster fills the bench.
