worth a shot? he was a pro bowl safety, and i assume the boys cut him because of money issues, and maybe a down year but he has talent. if phillips cant go this year i dont want to trust michael johnson out there even if he is gunna back up grant. If hamlin can be a solid safety, a secondary of webster hamlin rolle thomas doesnt sound to bad to me (expecting the worst possible situation with phillips) i just dont think we can bank on phillips returning and leave it up to deon grant or michael johnson
