I like to stop the run. I like to hit the running back, I don't why. I just like to hit the running back.

Marc Ross
says Chad Jones has some of the best pure hands of any position player in the draft
Love this pick more then the top 2. Tho I like the Anvil, and JPP has grown on me as well.
But Chad Jones is the team of the draft. Ross also says Chad is better then Taylor Mays..which is neat.
Great pick.
Love him.
World Series attitude, champagne bottle life, nothing every changes so tonight is like tomorrow night.
Definitely like picks #2 and #3
Only time will tell with JPP…
John Olerud, Hall of Famer. Got a nice ring to it.
Yep
I don’t think they will try to “coach him up” as much his first year, as they will the following years.
The mantra I think for this year, since he is so raw, see ball, get ball, see QB, get QB.

I love this guy
Great value.
There was rumors that if the Chargers couldn’t grab Ryan Matthews, they’d take this guy at 58. And there was another report that the cowboys were going to take this guy at 58 if he was available. Good value pick.
I actually like him better than Lamarr Houston. We need a big body who can cantrol blockers, push the pocket, and eat up space. Not a pass-rushing defensive tackle with a quick first step. I’m likin` it!

has Linval rated ahead of Houston

I remember
when I said to get Dan Williams months ago, there was all this talk about “fat tack” and how we need a pass-rushing DT. Thank God Reese didn’t go for that silly approach. I didn’t want Cody because I don’t trust him to keep his weight in check. Once DW was gone, I was hoping for Linval Joseph and we got him.
He’s a very athletic NT and extremely strong. The good thing about ECU is that they had a rotation just like the Giants will have. He’s used to it. He can push the pocket back, which allow our DEs more opportunities to get sacks. He’ll be the the NT behind Cofield unless he passes him on the depth chart at some point. And something I said numerous times in defense of my DW pick, both Coughlin and Reese mentioned: big DTs keep you LBs clean. This was a great pick.
All I want for christmas now,
Is an athletic MLB, strong in pass coverage, like oh say, I don’t know, Jamar Chaney in the 4th….OR an athletic, mauling RT in the 4th, like oh say, I don’t know, Bruce Campbell or Kyle Calloway….please oh please, Tim Tebow, make it happen!

love this pick – he’s a BEAST!
Opus smart , lascivio magis , intereo gauisus...
Watching video of him is certainly exciting.
He seems to have incredible closing speed and great instincts.

I now see a run stuffer in hand
May he work out as well as we need him to.
I love the rest of what he says too
Anyone who plays with the Giants on Madden is good in my book.
Never assume skill at bouncing a ball makes you smarter than the guy who built the court.
