Round 2 is where it's at!

First of all, I think JPP is a good pick.  Reese is taking a chance at rebuilding the 4 headed DE monster that won us a Super Bowl.  But the real money is in round 2.  Look at this list of names we've taken in Rd 2 recently:

Michael Strahan, Jason Sehorn, Amani Toomer, Tiki Barber, Joe Jurevicius, Cornellius Griffin, Osi Umenyiora, Chris Snee, Corey Webster, Steve Smith, and Terrell Thomas

Only a potential HOFer, some Pro-bowlers and the core of some good Giants teams over the years.  Looking back, the 1st rd got us a few good players, but when you compare to this list, Rd 2 blows it away.  The only real busts have been Joe Montgomery, Tim Carter and Sinorce Moss.  Now if you ask me, there should be a lot more emphasis on today's rounds than the crap shoot that is Round1.

Now to the pick.  I've seen a lot of different versions but I say if any one of DT's Price or Cody, OT's  Campbell or Brown, or LB's Lee, Butler or Spikes are there at 46 we should be very pleased.  I personally am big on Lee, I know people are fearful of his knee and his moderate athleticism, but with playmakers at DE ond OLB we need that smart, sound leader in the middle.  What do you think?
