New York Giants notes: Lots to talk about tonight
Today promises to be an exceptionally busy one with oodles of New York Giants stuff to talk about before it's over. That is why it is essential that you set aside an hour of your time this evening to listen to Pat Traina (Inside Football) and myself when we host the latest edition of 'New York Giants Talk' at 8 p.m. ET on Blog Talk Radio.
We will have CBS Sports draft analyst Rob Rang and Giants linebacker Clint Sintim as guests. E-mail questions to me at bigblueview@gmail.com or use the chat function to send in a question this evening.
- I'm certain that Jerry Reese's pre-draft press conference will be among the things Pat and I discuss tonight on BTR. The Giants general manager is speaking to the media around 12:30 p.m. You can watch on Giants.com if you aren't working, or if you are just looking for something to do when the boss thinks you are busy.
- Today is also a media access day for reporters. Odds are some interesting tidbits will come from the locker room as the day goes along. And I'm sure Pat will let us know if anything really news-worthy happens.
- In case anybody cares, or really because I know some of you need something to complain about, Sinorice Moss has signed his free-agent tender.

he's pretty slow, ran 4.75 last year
slower than all our DEs. If we are looking at dash times from our current LBs then Kehl ran 4.56 before he got drafted, but as we know he have some other issues…

Combine time means nothing for LB's
put on the tape of clint sintim and you tell me if he plays fast or not
Peyton May Have The Wins!!
But Eli Will Have The Rings!!!
Rolando McClain, Brian Price, John Jerry, Jamar Chaney, Deji Kenji, Kenny Alfred, Rafael Priest....... April 22-24th.
Just as fast as Mcclain ran
but Mcclain obviously is stronger with better instincts and more of a natural MLB not a blitzer

Do we know any teams...
that would at least trade a bag of peanuts for Moss? Doubt we could get much for him.
Don't know
But Moss wouldn’t bring much, anyway.

I'd take a 7th round pick for him
at this point, he’s never going to contribute to the Giants, and who knows, Reese has struck gold with a 7th rounder before.
Of course, whether he’s even worth a 7th rounder is up for debate
2009 Did Not Happen
This site has gotten waaay too good
Took me 45 minutes this morning to read all the new posts, fan posts, comments, & etc. before I could start working.
You play to win the game!
Working?
You work? You don’t spend the whole day here? I’m disappointed, Simms. I will have to do better.

I am surprised
that he was able to read all of Free’s posts in 45 minutes!
I try and multitask BBV and work but work does get in the way sometimes.

Right On
McConkey…loved that guy…If you read many of the posts about Osi V Kwie I was very surprised at how mature almost all the comments were even to those guys who said dump em both…guys were just honest about how they felt and backed up there logic without being hammered…good stuff great site.

Well, we are getting down to the wire..
Interesting item on them signing Moss..Either they know something we don’t or they want to give him one more training camp to prove himself, then decide.

anychance you could get us a link to Reese’s presser. Tryin to navigate Giants.com is like figuring out the mysteries of “Lost”
Thanks
Reese's presser
I will have something on it this afternoon. If the Giants provide the transcript … which I expect they will … I will also post that.
BTW, you would have hit closer to home with me if you had said "figuring out the next plot twist in 24.’

Just doing a Dawk and being too lazy to look it up myself!

Trade Moss, Hixon and a conditional pick for Tedd Ginn
…If only that were a real possibility (sigh).
Seriously though, can we trade Moss for Live-in Hamstring expert to work with Aaron Ross?
Just gimme some playmakers
lets keep hixon a little while...
As a return man he’s pretty darn good and I feel comfortable with him on 3rd and 5+ downs situtions. Him with manningham, smith, and boss are a good receiving core.
yikes...
i love hixon, i was so hyped up on his potential… although i do recall some big plays being dropped in years past… last year hixon was slowed by injury right? so i’m still on the fence. hopefully he can follow through on my hopes of last year… i feel much more confident in s-smith and boss.

Trading for Ginn if the price is right,to be our return man sounds good.
Then we could cut Hix and Moss, saving a roster spot for another position.

not gymnasts."

This should help to quell some of the fears about us takin JPP
