Mathias Kiwanuka talks about the defense and his future.  Kenny Phillips talks about his rehab. It's on the ESPN New York site here.

There are a few interesting points.

1. Kiwi sees himself as a starter and is willing to go elsewhere if he can't get a starting spot on the Giants.  This sentiment is why I said months ago that Reese had to entertain trading away either Osi or Kiwi.

2. Kiwi admits that they didn't believe in Sheridan's defense and that there was a lot of "freelancing" out there.

3. Phillips is running and you can tell that he's using his doubters as some serious motivation.

4. Kiwi says that Fewell "listens" and his scheme will be a "better fit."  That's an implicit knock on Sheridan while it's also a sign that the guys already like Fewell and his defense.
