Jeff Feagles is back
Pat Hanlon just tweeted that Jeff is signing his contract today. Got to love having him back he might of had a down year but the guy is dependable and well let's face it our whole team had a down year, Except Eli and the WRs. Guessing no more Zoltan or that Aussie rules football player we signed, No way anyone but Feagles will be punting the ball for us, of course unless he gets hurt.

I hope that Aussie dude has a strong leg.
Maybe he can make the squad as a KO specialist?

This is terrible news
He has no leg. He had like the 2nd or 3rd worst average for a “regular” punter. How anybody is happy about this I have no idea.
competition
I don’t think Feagles has a lock on the job. He’ll have to win it.
i agree
i’ll take his precision inside the 20 over any who can boom it over and over again but can’t keep the ball outside the end zone.
great....
our sandwedge of a punter is back…. hope we don’t go 3 and out, all season.
Dude has less leg than Joe( the Griffins nieghbor on Family Guy)
hopefully we draft Spiller so we can at least get some field position on the KR or PR.
That way if Gilbride designs one of his patented pass run pass punt schemes…we’d at least be in Geriatric Jeff’s range for a coffin corner

If I made a post about fried chicken
you’d find a way to make it about Spiller

boo for heineken
light degrades beer. Only drink from brown bottles. p.s. I’ve been to the Heineken Brewery.

heineken light? Surely you jest.
And my beer only sees the light when I obtain it from my fridge. At least I’m pretty sure the light goes off in there.
And the Heiny brewery sounds awesome.
….used to be my go to brew, not really any more..don’t really have one.
Current stock: Bass Ale, Sam Adams Spring pack- Boston Lager, Ale, Noble Pils (excellent) and Coastal Wheat (also good), Dogfishhead Shelter Pale Ale
….yes, his lasts me longer then a week.
Get HWSNBN...and they will come
Mmm ... beer
You gotta make the jump to the next level man!
Sam Adams is not bad beer. But it’s also not excellent. Same with Bass. Trade in your SA habit for a bit of long trail (macrobrew but better), harpoon … but mostly… you’re in CT right? You ought to be picking up growlers of Ten Penny out of EH, Hooker out of Bloomfield. Wait, you’re in Mass. So you have no excuse not to be drinking Opa Opa, Berkshire Brewing Co., and Wachusett (whose brewery by the ski area is not really worth a visit.)
From the Dogfish you ought to be drinking the 60-minute.
I used to drink Bass but I’ve moved into hoppy beers. It sounds from your tastes like you really ought to be drinking Red Hook. They have Long Hammer for the big hops, seasonal beers, and the ESB. Also check out Sierra Nevada.
I didn’t really like the noble pils. I’m not much of a pilsener or light lager guy except in the summer. And I don’t like wheat, but if you do, check out Franziskaner.
I’m at work right now, just finished my 3rd Sierra Nevada. Pretty good week for me, only had about 45 and probably only 6 tomorrow! You know what else is good is the Brooklyn line of beers.

Oh I know my brews....
60-min’s one of my favorites, but the 90-min IS my favorite. I had Opa-Opa before…aside from being a “local”, nothing too special really.
Sierra Nevada is excellent.
Here’s my excuses the stock!
Sam Adams- My pops bought a 24 pack, and we split it. So uh…FreeBeer
Also, no matter how many other types of brew I have…I always say, Sam Adams Boston Lager just never gets old.
Bass- love the stuff and just hadn’t had it in a while. Plus, it was on sale for $10.99 a 12-pack. I ain’t passing that shit up.
Dogfish- never had the Shelter Pale before. Compared to the Bass Pale Ale, I don’t think I ever will have the Shelter again.
I guess I was just “going back” a bit with the current stock. Usually I’m stocked up with stuff I’ve never heard of before.

Fried Chicken
Is a must in my new White Spiller jersey, the pasta and gravy always stains..
Luck is when preparation meets opportunity.
Here are last year's stats for punters....
They don’t seem to back up that statement.

it looks like the stats back it up anyway
31st in average yards
30th in net yards
20th in punts inside the 20

a year ago fans of this site were voting him into the hall of fame
where did the love go?
You play to win the game!
I've been critical of him....and still am not sold on him for this year...
but I think he’s been a great player with an excellent career. I’m not knocking his lifetime achievements, just his 2009 season.
i saw that being blamed on the coaching and what he was asked to do

Well, since it didn't work, and hurt the team...
if it WASN’T Feagles, and Quinn’s medling led to the mess, why does Quinn still have a job?
that's been a source of much pondering around here
