A note about 'FanPosts'
More and more of you seem to be taking advantage of 'FanPosts' lately to express your opinions and start a variety of interesting discussions. I love the participation, and I encourage you to use that capability whenever you have something to say that does not seem to fit in a comment.
But ... isn't there always a 'but?' I do have some requests.
- Please try to use capitalization when appropriate. Always at the beginnings of sentences. Use "I" instead of "i." Always capitalize player names, and try to spell them correctly.
- Please use complete words instead of abbreviations. Use "because" instead of "cuz", "you are" instead of "ur," and so forth. We are not text messaging or instant messaging here. We are writing, and there is a difference. This holds true in your comments, as well.
- Please use paragraphs. One massive paragraph that goes on for a few hundred words is impossible to read. Same for using all caps. Don't do that to your audience.
- Please spell check before you publish. I understand that writing is not a specialty for many of you, and I don't expect perfection. I make mistakes, too. I do ask that you make an effort. Don't just slap something down and hit 'publish' without at least re-reading your work first. Remember, your 'FanPost' could potentially be read by thousands of people. A well-written and edited post will always generate more interest than a mistake-filled one that is obviously just slapped together.
- Please adhere to the site's Community Guidelines, and keep the post respectful. This has not generally been an issue, but just a reminder.
In general, remember this. The quality of your 'FanPosts' reflects on the quality of the community as a whole. Here at Big Blue View, we have always prided ourselves on the intelligence and maturity of our audience. Though we try, the 'family' atmosphere has become more difficult to maintain as the site has grown. This will always be a place for intelligent discussion, though, and I hope you will take enough pride in your FanPosts to make them reflect that.

FanPosts are written by community members. This is simply a way for community members to express opinions too long to be contained in a comment.
