SAM you mean?
Sam means Stronglinebacker, Mike is the Middle Line Backer.
Also, Will means Weaksidelinebacker.
SAMs line up where ever the TE is, and the Will on the otherside, usually.
Obviously the Mike’s in the middle
Never assume skill at bouncing a ball makes you smarter than the guy who built the court.
