Osi no-show for ESPN radio spot
Osi Umenyiora was supposed to be on radio with 'Mike & Mike' this morning. He didn't appear, however. I was actually hoping he would be on -- I was anxious to hear how he would follow Wednesday's remarks.

Oh no....
It already hit the fan…now its starting to splatter around the room.
Osi’s probably just getting a bucket of oxy clean and some cans of lysol in order to figure out this mess.
Rectum? Damn near killed em!
He prob read all the BBV
comments and then felt like a douche. so now, he’ll most likely issue a statement and back-peddle his way out.
15 is a good number
whats
up with that? FreeB might be right, it might be getting soaked up by his socks at this point
Giants stadium
is coming down today i heard isnt it? maybe hes out watching the demo lol
maybe he overslept
I heard he was dating a Victoria Secrets lingerie model. I wouldn’t be coming out of my bedroom this early in the morning either.

Good sign?
Maybe. Not showing for the interview hopefully indicates that he realizes he mis-spoke and is ready to do some damage control. His apparent selfish approach may be nothing more than immaturity. If so, Fewell may be able to help him grow up a little. As Ed has stated, acceptance of a little personal responsibility would be nice. It would also be the mature thing to do.
I just heard the interview
Osi was on this morning about 5 mins before they went off the air. He basically is saying the same thing. He’s not demanding a trade or retiring….but if he isn’t one of the 11 best defensive players for the team…it’s time to move on. I personally would like to see him start now that he’s a year away from surgery. I expect a big bounce back year from him! (1st post….new to the site)
Cool that he did come on
I had to leave before the end of the show, and last I heard was that he had missed out. I will be looking forward to giving the podcast a listen. Humility, Osi, humility.

With every
passing day Osi is showing his true colors.
Note to Osi:
STFU!!!! Let your play on the field do the talking not from your egotistical mouth.
Hmmm
I would as well as the rest of you love to see osi jst shut his mouth and start working on 2010. But I get a funny feeling that maybe every day closer to the draft is just another day closer that osi could get moved. I would really like to see him stay with the giants but a certianly ex giant who is playing inyhe superbowl on Sunday( I guess we will see if he will play) did this same thing a few years ago. Just my thoughs.

Yeahhh
but what did Shockey do to get them there?? He wasn’t exactly their leading receiver. And him leaving hardly affected the Giants in a negative way.

He was alson on...
KNBR 680 Bay Area this morning. I didn’t hear his interview but when I was driving to work this morning the two radio hosts were talking about their interview with him earlier in the morning, basically the same stuff about starting or leaving… sounds like he’s going on a PR campaign for his starting job.
I hope he stays and plays.
Combine this with the Paladino stuff
and it seems that there’s no way Osi can stay with the Giants. I hope Francesa’s right (he usually not) and we can get a ! 1 pick for him.
