We get these guys - we are in THE SB THIS YEAR

I don't know about you guys - but I think if we did the following in FA and the draft, we are back in the Bowl:

FA Pickups: Sproles (passing down rb, punt returner and kickiff returner), Dunta Robinson or Rolle and Tully Banta-Cain or Keith Bulluck (basically to mentor the drafted 1st round LB). Sproles will make out special teams off the hook. He is a monster in the open field and the chargers just don't want him anymore. I rather him than LT or Westbrook. Sprole is much stronger than the 2 of them on special teams. He will make us much better. Look Bradshaw is awesome to watch and root for, but Sproles is money on screen plays and special teams.

Draft: Mcclain is the 1st round. A Safety/DL in the second, depending on who falls into the second. I have a feeling Jerry is going to trade up in the second round to get virtually 2 1st rounders. We wil get a LB, DL or Safety in the 1st 2 rounds. I kow you may find this suprising, but we need a young, VERY STRONG leg for kickoffs. Our kickoffs are driving me crazy. We allow the opposing team to start on the 35 or 40 every single kickoff. I think we should keep Tynes one more year, dress both and then after a year, get rid of Tynes and let the newbie do the kicking. No point in signing a big name kicker if we can;t get some touch backs. I would be ok to drop Tynes and get another vet kicker for a year too. No difference to me. In teh later rounds, just pile up on OL.

Think about it: Sproles, Robinson or Rolle to help the backend of the defense and an above average MLB to help menor our new 1st rounder. Draft Mcclain and pray that Price falls out of teh 1st orund and we trade up. We will be back in the bowl.

yeah, we'd have a good team

but going into every season there’s at least 10 teams thinking they have a great shot at the super bowl.

I'd rather have CJ Spiller than Sproles

That’s not a knock on Sproles. I just think CJ has better speed, great instincts and doesn’t take the kind of punishment Sproles has.

Aside from drafting McClain and signing Antrelle Rolle…I’m thinking nah…

And McClain’s probably not there anyway, Rolle maybe not either.

Boley's never played the Mike. He wore the green dot last year...but never has he played the Mike, even in college

here’s a good one.

Gerris Wilkinson played MLB in college. I know he’s basically the Sinorice Moss of the defense, but he was tendered so if no one tries to sign him I’d assume he’d get a shot to make the team in some fashion.

This guy was a big part of the SB run in the playoffs.

I don’t think Boley or Sintim will be anything other then the starting WLB and SLB come week one next year.

But I think Wilkinson to MLB is possibly the “most realistic” move among our OLB’s to “move” to MLB.

Guess it sort of bears in mind, why the hell did they try and switch him to a WLB in the first place?

At this point

At this point the Giants already signed Rolle on the team. I can see Sproles only if it does not cost the team any picks. I would like a pickup like Witherspoon LB and look into two more DB’s.
