Around SBN: Ellenberger vs. Sanchez Heats Up, Hughes Talks Retirement

Folk was pretty awful last year, but he was a Pro Bowler as a rookie in 2007. Any competition for the kicker spot is a good thing, in my opinion.

No -

Don’t really want no leftover cowgirl kickers who sucked in Dallas. I know he was good for a while, but he ended up bad enough to get bounced (without even being hurt I don’t think) so no thanks.

no thanks to anyone who was replaced by Suisham

He was terrible for Dallas last year, and that was in a dome. Don’t wanna see him in the cold weather. Plus, nobody knows what the winds are gonna be like in the new stadium.

yes!

I am a proponent of tynes getting his walking papers, and I don’t care who they used to play for, if there good enough to beat shaky for his job, so be it. Folk wasn’t a slouch his rookie bid, so I wouldn’t be quick to dismiss him.

Wasn't there something

about Folk being injured last year and the Cowboys were just hoping he would heal?

Any one other than Tynes

Bring back Morten Anderson, but please just no more Tynes.

Long Distance...

Need a kicker that can dial long distance on kickoffs please, laugh at the Cowpokes
but they drafted a kid late last year, and he routinely puts the ball in end zone…
Part of our special teams “issues” lays at the hand of a kicker who routinely kicks to only the 10 yard line. Keep him for FG’s if they want…BTW, love Feagles, but father time has caught up to him too (happens to all of us).

Yep, but they released him and signed the Redskins recently released kicker.
They should have just put him on IR
