I know it might sound extreme considering we are a 9-6 team(yeah we haven't won against the Redskins yet).
But the last 3 seasons have been an exercise in futility.
A franchise QB who turns over the ball close to 30 times in 15 games in his 7th year is just inexcusable.
I am not an Eli hater , just someone who is coming around to the realisation that he is not a top 10 QB.
Would anyone who is not partisan take him over Aaron Rodgers or Matt Ryan (just to name 1 of the much younger QB's)?
Going to Green Bay and losing is not in itself shameful, its the manner of capitulation. The defence played like crap, but Even if they played better, Eli's picks and the RB's funbles gave us no chance.
This is something I have said before. Eli needs a strong supporting cast, unlike Brady and the other Manning. We cannot afford to pay him and everybody else.
I do not know who will make a better coach than TC , but he clearly has to go. Bring in a new coach and chances are he will want his own QB, his own Co-ordinators and position coaches.
The ownership and team management have to look at this as the cross roads. What kind of team do the Giants want to be? Satisfied with beating up on mediocre teams and also rans while losing to good ones time after time?
