Why Tom Coughlin Must Go....

Yup... No introduction necessary for this one all of my fellow Giants fans. For those of you who keep defending old man Coughlin, you all are just like those old people who refuse to use a computer because that's not what they used back in 1943. If you guys don't know by now, the NFL is a 'what have you done for me lately' league. And with that being said, yeah we are thankful for TC being at the helm when we won a SB, but the hourglass is empty. No more red-faced, grumpy old man tirades on the sidelines anymore. No more saying, " I take full responsibility for a loss like that" and then come out and back up a humiliating loss with another humiliating loss. We are all happy for the ring you got us Tom, but good bye. A head coach is only as good as the people that he surrounds himself with, and if they all SUCK, sad to say, YOU SUCK TOO!!!

Head coaches are supposed to get their team prepared in every possible way for a game. That is strategically, mentally, physically, and emotionally. A head coach's staff is supposed to work on all the specific details(no matter how big or small) to assist the coach on making a team ready. If you are like me, you know just as well as I do that Coughlin's offensive coordinator is no good, his special teams coach is no good, his previous defensive coordinator was no good, and that right there is enough for me to determine that his judgment stinks. The only thing that I can really say good about Tom Coughlin's coaching is that he is one hell of a red flag thrower! Other than that, I really can't remember hearing a true motivational sound byte of Coach Coughlin in the locker room motivating his players the way some good head coaches do. All I see from him is a tired old man who never wants to hold players accountable for things that hurt his football team,... even when he knows that he should. He will never give good rookie players, or younger players a chance to shine if he already has a veteran in place. It doesn't even matter if the younger player is producing more than the veteran, he sticks with the script. And in this league of many, many, many adjustments, that is not going to work in the NFL.

A very disturbing stat was shown during the game about The Giants under Tom Coughlin.... the Giants have always had a losing record in the latter part of the season under Tom Coughlin. The reason why it was disturbing is because that is the time of the season when the games become more meaningful and teams come out with enough game tape on your team to game plan better, and teams usually play a lot harder. This tells me that under TC, the Giants are never ready for those big games(most of them with playoff indications) strategically, mentally, or emotionally. With this undesirable trait that has now defined Giants football under our beloved coach, I do believe it is in our best interest to part ways. Look, under him, the Giants are known for being a inconsistent, turnover prone, mentally fragile, underachieving team that (with the exception of one year) really cannot contend with the elite teams of the NFL. I think this culture of Big Blue Football needs a makeover.
