Tuck Takes Aim At Strahan
I know mentioning this will annoy some of you, but I have to do it. Justin Tuck is firing back at Michael Strahan, and Strahan is now aiming darts at the media. No mention of BBV yet in Stray's rants.

Ed I agree with you
I love Sta and he is no where near Tiki villain status. But he did sound a little “holier than thou” with his comments. Blaming “the media” for twisting his words is lame.
Love you Mike but you were wrong.

I'll agree with that, too
I love the guy. He is entitled to his opinion, of course. He just didn’t do this the right way.

Stray was right
and said what a lot of people already know. The press acted like gossipy little girls with the story.
Prove Stray is wrong on the field, Tuck.
Second that.
There is no way a team can lose like that and then expect every-one to say: “Aaahhh…poor baby…..don’t cry, you’ll get them next time.” Please, the Giants deserved every bit of criticism that they got for the lapse in performance that helped bring about that result and trying to turn this on Strahan still doesn’t change that.
Strahan is right, the media is like the child that stands between two children who are standing face-to-face and about to fight and says “Baddest man hit my hand…oohhh, he/she hit you.” Please. Strahan may have been in the same position but that does not take away from his prerogative to criticize the Giants win they lay a dozen eggs like they did on Sunday.

I dont think anybody is saying that
But Michael was part of a few collapses himself. He talked as if he was never part of anything like that. If he is going to tell it like it is, tell the whole story is all.

Is there a link to a video which shows Mike saying this?
I would have to see it in order to make that determination.

I dont know
I’m a lazy poster. If it’s not on BBV chances are I havent seen it.

That's my point
No one is saying the Giants don’t deserve criticism. I just want Stray to admit that he’s been there, that it happened to him and he knows what it’s like.

A few weeks ago
Someone watching the game on a stream reported that during studio breaks the stream just stayed in the booth with the sound on. What I would have paid to have heard the announcers when they thought they were off-air in the booth.
As for Strahan, I don’t have any problem with him criticizing the Giants, either in the form or the content department. To do anything else would be pure homerism, and unprofessional for a sports talking head. I’m sure that many folks on here read what TMQ had to say about the Giants—and in particular the coaching staff—this week. I think that was right on the money, and from a basically unbiased source. It was hard to read, but sadly correct.

3rd that.
Nobody likes to get called out for sucking right after they sucked. But that’s the truth of the matter.
And I wish the Giants players were ashamed of their loss on Sunday. It’s disappointing to hear Tuck say that he isn’t ashamed.
+1

If Stray didn't want the attention
Why did Fox issue a press release with the quotes to the media?
I think the media would have been justified in asking current Giants about the statements even without that, but to blame a media for being sharks when you are the one who not only put the blood in the water but invited them to swim along is ridiculous.
desired response
from the team has been acheived.
I still think Strahan is this teams best motivator.
Media people love drama, it’s what they sell for a living, so fodder like this will ellicit that kind of response. I’m sure all in the locker room know what the intent of the statements were and can see through the high school gossip angle the reporters like to use.
Fire Quinn Now!!!!!!!!!!!
Who cares?
I know you have to post it Ed, but you’re gut instinct is right. It’s a non story that one feels compelled to mention if they cover the Giants.
I can’t wait till game time this week. And I didn’t feel like I’d be looking forward to a game so soon after we got our hearts ripped out last week on national television. The only thing worse might be if , oh, let’s see, my fetish for feet was broadcast to the whole nation to snicker about.
You know, I thought I knew what it felt like to be a Jets fan after last week’s debacle. But then the sexy Rexy footloose thing broke, and I realized I have no idea how it feels to be a Jets fan. Thank God.
Go Giants!
No need to be ashamed. There's explanation for it. These things just happen sometimes.

Strahan was 100% right
the Giants players and coaching staff embarrassed themselves with that piss poor display. No excuses. Instead of being sensitive, Tuck needs to swallow his pride, shut his mouth, and go out there on sunday and play like an animal. That’s what will shut people up, not getting your ass kicked off of the field in 7 minutes time and then whining when someone rightfully calls you and your teammates out for humiliating themselves, the franchise, and the fanbase

strahan no foul
Hey we all got upset after the loss. It sucked. Strahan is a giants fan and beleiver there is no doubt. What he said wasn’t half as bad as we all said here after the game. Tuck took it personal and shouldn’t have. Plain and simple.

He should take it personally
But the best way to take it personally is to get pissed off about it and unload that anger against Green Bay, not Strahan.

Get over Strahan
1. He said what we were all thinking.
2. Everyone over the age of 30 can relate to what happened to the Giants if you have lived a little. Who hasn’t thought they had it and then it was gone? Who hasn’t been embarrassed by events that you should have controlled but didn’t. It’s life.
A very wise man once told me character is defined by what you do when you are down and no one is on your side. Let’s see what the Giants come up with this weekend.
I want more JPP and I want it now!
Strahan is right
they should be ashamed. I’m disappointed that anybody isn’t. even I am.
