I just find it funny, that's an excuse. Corey Webster shut him down when he lined up at his side. He even had a pick (although vick threw across his body and made a stupid decision). I'm not one of those guys who's going to type an essay and give a play-by-play breakdown on why jackson wasn't double covered most of the game because I am truly lazy, but I re-watched the game and I noticed that we locked up desean jackson man-on-man against corey webster for practically most of the day. Aside from 1 comeback route for 8 yards, jackson was shut down by webster. his other 2 catches (i believe) came against zone coverage.

Will Webster ever get credit for being one of the best man-to-man CBs in the NFL? I have no idea why defenses dont play jackson the way webster did last sunday. there's a reason why jackson fell to the second round, because he's undersized and scouts believed he would not get off a jam against bigger corners in the nfl. for some reason, people would prefer to play off coverage against jackson and HE still runs by that coverage.
