This may offend some Eli apologists who make excuses for him every single time, but there is no excuse for eli and the way he's playing these last couple of games. how many times have we seen eli miss a wide open receiver by overthrowing it, underhrowing it, throwing it too low, or throwing it too high? how many times have we seen eli throw some inconsistent spirals (it was in a dome this time)? throwing too late? taking "gunslinging" risks into coverage? unable to throw it in-stride and forcing our receivers to adjust, slow down, or get hit hard and destroyed after the catch. i love how tom brady said he throws the ball to maximize YAC and avoids leading his receivers into big hits. Why can't eli do that? He's certainly shown the ability that he can but he's not lately.

maybe im overreacting, but im getting very upset at the way eli is playing. i almost destroyed my TV after his second INT. I thought it was going to be another 'we just beat ourselves' football game. Thank goodness we can win games when eli manning is turning the football more than any QB in the NFL. He can't do this in the playoffs and its time for coughlin to address this with eli and do something with him instead of ignoring it.

imagine how dominant this team can be if eli would play the way he did in the beginning of the year. is he in a slump or is this just normal ol' eli and he is always like this? As for me, I think he's slumping right now like mark sanchez and he has to snap out of this crap before it costs us in the playoffs. no way are we competitive against the eagles if eli continues to play like this. im so frustrated because im not sure if its ever going to stop. the turnovers could continue forever.. the fact that we can still blow out teams with our turnovers speaks volumes about our team
