NFL Top 100 - Giants Well Represented

So last night the NFL network capped off it's countdown of the 100 greatest players in NFL history with their top 10.  I'm sure a lot of you followed it or at least heard about it on nfl.com, but for those of you who, like me, don't have the NFL Network or didn't utilize the wonders of You Tube to watch each player's highlight clips (like I did, screw you cable company), I thought I'd pass along some info on how our Giants did in the countdown.

In all, there were 5 members of the New York Giants who cracked the top 100.  Michael Strahan came in at 99, Mel Hein at 96, Sam Huff at 93, Emlem Tunnell at 79, and of course LT, who got the respect he deserved and came in at number 3.  Pretty good representation, although considering the long history of the Giants I suppose it's not all that surprising to see a handful of former players on the list.

So what do you guys think of NFL Films job of selecting the Top 100 of all time?  Inevitably there are going to be some well deserving players left off the list, but overall I thought it was a great job of selecting the right guys.  Since this is a Giants forum, let's talk Giants.  What do you make of the rankings our Giants got?  Too high?  Too low?  Who got left out?  Who doesn't belong?  There are few things I enjoy more than debating the rightful place of the NFL's all-time greats, so I'd love to hear your opinions.

By the way, here's the link to the complete list (and if it doesn't work, just go onto nfl.com and find it): http://top100.nfl.com/?module=HP_cp2
