I for one have always thought Eli would show the world that he was the "real-deal". He has now proven he cannot compete at the same level as Archie or Peyton. He lacks competitive and leadership qualities that the truly great quarterbacks have. How sick of hearing that Eli's "oh well" attitude equates to poise and leadership skills am I? ALOT!. NFL players are paid millions of dollars to "perform"! Who out there can't fumble a ball without being hit, throw a pass to a player on the other team or act like they are afraid to tell another player making millions of dollars to catch the ball or get off the field! A leader leads by example, if you want diligence, determintion and a winning attitude from your "team" or teammates, you damn sure better exhibit those same traits or give back the $'s your performance doesn't warrant! I refuse to blame everything on Gilbride since when his plays required running the ball or passing the ball, Eli had audibles to change the plays. Eli has not shown the ability to read and counter the majority of defensive change-ups thrown at him. The buck stops with Eli, and all of the excuses people make are ridiculous. The Eagles game resulted in a loss because "Eli" was erattic and careless. He has his lofty contract and is set financially so he just doesn't care! IMHO.
