Our Giants drew no opponent this past Sunday. Thus, they enjoyed a well deserved day off considering their performance over the past 4 weeks. Since the bye week left me with some extra time on my hands fan-post publishing wise, I thought that I would use that time to construct this fan-post for the purpose of taking a closer look at top BBV Player of The Week Winners. For the sake of time and time and space I decided to focus on offensive players in this post. Defensive players will be covered later in the season. The question that this post was designed to entertain will be found at the end of this post. It was necessary to place it there because of the need to review the following information in order to answer it. Alright, lets get to it:

NEW YORK GIANTS ALL-TIME LEADING RUSHER

                                                                TIKI BARBER RB/OFFENSE

Tiki Barber joined the NY Giants in 1997. It is said that he wasn't the most coveted running back at the time because of his hieght and size. Nevertheless, he was drafted by the Giants in the 2nd round of the 1997 NFL Draft. After two initial sub-par seasons, he established himself as a premier back. He finished his career with a franchise best 10,449 yards and 55 TDs.  5,266 of these yards are rushing yards while the remaining 5,183 are reception yards.

                                                                 Where Was He Then?

In his 4th year, Tiki Barber carried the ball a total of 213 times and accumulated a season rushing total of 1,006 yards. He complimented his production in rushing by amassing a season total of 719 receiving yards which was the product of 70 receptions. His rushing and receiving totals resulted in a combined season total of 1,725 yards and 1 TDs.

Ahmad joined the NY Giants in 2007. He began his career with the Giants as a kick returner; just as Tiki did. He was later placed with the NY Giant RB corp and has fired off a consistent number of strong performances. The fact that he is now the NY Giant starting RB only serves to reinforce this fact. Ahmad currently sits at # 26 on the franchise's all-time leading rusher's list with a career total of 2031 rushing yards and 12 TDs.
