A 41-35 victory by our New York Giants over the NFC East rival Dallas Cowboys and I should be much, much happier than I am.
- The 5-2 Giants are alone in first place in the NFC East.
- They knocked Dallas quarterback Tony Romo out of action with a fractured clavicle.
- They piled up nearly 500 yards of offense, 497 to be exact.
- They overcame a 20-7 deficit.
The five turnovers, surrendering a punt return for a score and allowing this game to be much, much closer than it appeared even the 1-5 Cowboys were interested in making it bugs me.
But, it's a victory, the Cowboys' season is all but over and the Giants are in first place heading into a bye week. I really shouldn't complain.
NOTE: One thing I will complain about is behavior of some folks in the game thread. I have gotten reports of a great deal of unacceptable behavior and inappropriate comments. When I get a chance to sort through all of that there will likely be some folks who are no longer part of this community.
