@ Eagles 11/21 - Where to watch?
Myself and my brother are coming over to NY in November from bonnie Scotland (birthplace of Giants legend Lawrence Tynes ; )
Does anyone have any recommendations for where we can watch the Eagles game on 11/21? We're staying with my Uncle on Staten Island so somewhere there would be good but I'd travel elsewhere if someone knows somewhere really good. My Uncle isn't really into football so I don't want to be at his place shouting and bawling at the TV!
Any ideas would be really appreciated. Cheers folks.

Hmmm

Best stay away from local pubs if that’s the case…your best bet is probably a franchise like Fridays or Applebees, they show every game every Sunday and usually have a pretty subdued crowd, at least in my area.

I'm not wanting subdued
I’ll be ditching my Uncle for the day, plenty time to see him the rest of the time!
Looking for somewhere where there will be a good atmosphere with a plentiful stock of beer!
Thanks for the response though tito.
Oh I misread!
iI thought you’d be brining your uncle, if that’s the case just find the nearest bar…more than likely that’s how they make most of their money for the week, wear your Giants jersey and you should make some fast friends

Or the train.
I’m pretty sure you can get dropped pretty close to the stadium.

Love to do that
but are tickets not going for silly money these days?! Being on the other side of The Pond I don’t hear too much about ticket prices and stuff.

I'm built like Tom Coughlin
so the defending myself against an angry Philly mob bit might prove difficult!

Having lived in Philly and having attended both baseball and football games there....
Better to find a bar in SI. Eagles fans are the closest we get to hooligans in the US, but without the charm or elocution.

I can rack up a bar tab like that...
…so treat yourself if you can. It can be a little rough there so just do some Braveheart sh… He was Scottish, right? Tynes, legend? Mmmm….don’t know many kickers are considered legends but he is your home boy.

LOL
Tongue was firmly in my cheek when I called Tynes a legend!
I don’t think I’d get through US customs with my face painted blue and white and a massive claymore up my sleeve so the Braveheart stuff might not work!

Buffalo Wild Wings at 139 Flatbush Avenue Brooklyn may be your best bet.
GRRRRRREAT football environment.. all games are on but sometimes the girls can be a distraction . but ay thats what 1/2 time is for..

I'll keep it in mind
simply walking the streets over there makes me want to flip out and strangle someone though…

There's a Buffalo Wild Wings on Flatbush downtown...
Now I have heard it all. I leave Brooklyn for a few measly years and…
Wow.

you may be assed out.
I’m in BK and have Cablevision and starting OCT 16th Fox is going off the air.

well with some haggling i got it down to $103 for the tripleplay for 1 box
i payed $98 for the same for cable. they also threw in movie channels for 3 months for free. now that price can vary, i had to go online an find a coupon and if u have a verizon cell phone i think its 5 or $10 cheaper a month.
Much more for me
I have satellite right now but I have had Cablevision and Verizon in the past. I paid about $70 for phone, internet, and TV with Cablevision. It was $100+ with Verizon and there was a contract. If you broke the contract, it was $200+ in a cancellation fee.

I'm hoping it all blows over
I’m going to Queens on Sunday to watch the game w/ a buddy…..
hopefully by next weekend it’s back on? IDK.
