I have a few questions for Giants fans...
Yes, I am and Eagles fan and Yes I know I am in the wrong place but to begin with I would like to say that I kinda wish that you guys wouldve made the post season with the Eagles and Cowboys, and I would like to say that I've kinda always respected the Giants(although I dont like some specific players I must admit) and I like to see them suceed whenever there not playing the Eagles of coarse... So onto my questions:
(1) What do you guys feel went wrong this year to cause you to miss the playoffs?
(2) I saw some of you guys talking about the 3-4 defense, do you guys thing that this will help you next year?
(3) Who are you guys hoping to get in Free Agency?
(4) Who are you guys hoping to get in the Draft?
(5) Do you think Osi and Pierce will be in a Giants uniform next year?
(6) Who are you picking to win the SB???
I also have to say that I feel Eli Manning did pretty good this year. Ever since that Super Bowl run you guys had he's really done very well. Also I was kinda surprised at how "bad"(in the since that he didnt meet expectations) and how good Bradshaw did.

1. Terrible defensive play and coaching / scheming
2. I think a 3-4 would be a mistake with our current roster
3. Antoine Bethea or Atogwe
4. McClain in the first. DT / S in the second. something to help the running game in the 3rd
5. I think Osi will be a Giant, AP will be only if its an uncapped year
6. Chargers / Ravens / Packers ( unfortunately)

man im on board with pretty much all of those
However i would really like the Giants to look at getting an impact player in LB crew like Ryans or Morrison. I think the DLine had alot of injuries this year and will be back next year with a vengence. Would be really nice to get a quality starting safety who can cover.
Yeah, looks good to me also
I’ll add something personal.
3. I like the FA’s mentioned too, perhaps Ruud and Dansby also?
4. McClain, Earl Thomas, CJ Spiller or if any of them aren’t available, trading down. Though if Spiller is there, perhaps trading down still might be an option as we could also get another RB in the later rounds.
5. I think Osi will be here, but if he’s going to be more of the third down pass rush specialist, he needs to embrace it and accept it. No need for distractions!
6. SB matchup, Chargers/Vikings
huh.. thats interesting....
We want Atogwe over at BGN.. Well most of us do… Hey, what do you think we could get if we traded mcnabb??? not to you guys but to anyone else?
thats Cobb on Kolb crime if you ask me... as said by yophillybro
Someone like the Vikings could make a move for McNabb
if he was on the trading block for maybe a low first or early 2nd rounder. Hes relatively old now but I think he still has 3-5 years left in him

oh ok..
I think we could definatly get a 1st from someone like the Brown, Redskins, Raiders, Bills, maybe Jacksonville, and some of the other teams with bad QB situations…
I truely want his ass gone, he’s McChoked 1 to many times.
thats Cobb on Kolb crime if you ask me... as said by yophillybro
I'm thinking a first may be attainable in this scenario
Assuming that McNabb would be traded to a QB-needy team drafting in the top third of this years draft, they would give up next years first so they could have their pick this year, all the while sitting their other QB for development. The team still has the ability to pick whatever ails them currently, and they have an upgrade at QB!
Actually...
If the old man can somehow manage to not allow his senility to affect his decision-making — which is a big if, unfortunately — then the Raiders won’t have a “bad QB situation.” I’m sure nobody on this blog has noticed, but Bruce Gradkowski is working out just fine. So, as long as JaMarcus Russell isn’t starting, you guys can keep “Campbell’s” McNabb.
And it’ll be the Colts and Saints/Packers in the SB. Though, now that the Raiders and Giants aren’t contending, I don’t really care who gets in as long as it’s not the Chargers and Cowboys.

I can't see McNabb in another uniform! lol
But if a team needs at least two years to get more development out of their current QB situation, i’m thinking nothing higher than a second along with a later round pick. I’m not knocking McNabb, but given his age, teams will probably be reluctant to give up a first?!
Off the top of my head, perhaps the Browns, Raiders or Rams? That would be down right mean! lol
Here we go
(1) What do you guys feel went wrong this year to cause you to miss the playoffs?
A butt load of things. We had a ton of injuries. In some type of order: Andre Brown (IR), Aaron Ross (played maybe 3 games), Jay Alford (IR), Hakeem Nicks (missed two weeks I think), Danny Ware (Played Sparingly), Domenix Hixon (back around week 6 I believe), Justin Tuck (would play all the time, but was never the same), Eli Manning (Would play all the time, but cost us one or two games), Chris Canty (Never been injured before, but wouldn’t be back until around week 8), Brandon Jacobs, Corey Webster, Kenny Phillips etc. etc. That’s almost half the team in important positions. Can’t win like that.
Injuries weren’t the only reason, but one big part of it.
(2) I saw some of you guys talking about the 3-4 defense, do you guys thing that this will help you next year?
I’m opposed to the 3-4. It takes a few years to fully adapt to that, and it marginalizes our best Defensive player, Justin Tuck. Tuck had a down year due to his arm, but putting him in the 3-4 is stupid. Also, we could barely get 3 good linebackers on the field, why would we want to put 4?
(3) Who are you guys hoping to get in Free Agency?
I’m hesitant about FA, seeing how well we did last year with it (sarcasm there). Richard Seymour would be awesome if Al Davis lets him go. The only way he stays is if the Raiders franchise him. That would probably open up their other players, like Kirk Morrison or their other Linebackers. We could steal from them.
(4) Who are you guys hoping to get in the Draft?
I don’t care who we get in the draft. As long as we get a mean SOB on defense. Whether its DT, Safety, of LB, we need a playmaker.
(5) Do you think Osi and Pierce will be in a Giants uniform next year?
Osi yes, Pierce no. Pierce is done. He’s smart and all, but his body is worn down. Osi will stay unless we get a really good price for him, which we probably won’t.
(6) Who are you picking to win the SB???
It’ll be either the Colts or Chargers vs the Vikes/Cards/Pack.
Probably Colts/Vikes

I agree with just about everything there...

How come McNabb is an All-Pro against the Giants
and sucks against Dallas?

I'll take the Giants season over the Eagles'
Yeah, I know the Gmen didn’t make the playoffs and the Eagles did, but…
I really hate the Cowboys. Any season that we sweep the Cowboys couldn’t be too terrible. (Although the end of this season was pretty hard to watch, and I mostly didn’t watch.)
The Eagles got swept 3 games by the Cowgirls, shutout, and embarrassed in the playoffs.
By sucking at the end, we got the 15th pick, so we can more easily rebuild. And we already know we can beat Dallas. It’s still not going to be that easy, especially with all of the new coaches coming in.
I just don’t understand the Eagles. How do you let a sucker like Roy Williams beat you down like that? Brutal…

He got 2 TD's on Webster i think
in the last game
one was garbage time
the other was terrible, I’ll agree

Saving grace of 2010: Sweeping the Cowpies. As long as the Cowgirls don’t you know, wi-wuhwuh-wuh win the s-s-s suh-suh-suh
as long as the Cowpies don’t go far, I’m ok with this season
You play to win the game!
Giant Questions
Being a TRUE GIANTS fan, there is NO WAY I’m going to answer these questions to an Eagles fan. Every GIANTS fan will probably say,“we may not like Dallas, but we hate the Eagles !!” I will say this. You should ask the questions you raised to your head coach. It’s obvious Philly’s only claim to fame is their cheesesteak sandwich. It’s another playoff chance and McNabb has choked again !! Keep the focus on your team or you could always leave them and come over to the Big Blue.
As much as i hate the eagels and their fans
ive gotta say i hate the cowfags a thousand times more. i’ll root for the eagles over them every single time. would never root for the eagles in any other circumstance however, but must hope for a dalls loss.

Dislike the Cowboys?
I still agree with George Young, the Giants GM when they won Super Bowls 21 and 25.
He gave a talk after the first Super Bowl win in 1987, and during the Q&A period afterwards someone asked him, “When you watch the Cowboys play the Redskins, the Giants two main rivals, and you would somehow like to see them both lose, who do you root for?”
After a moment of thought he said, “If the Dallas Cowboys were playing the Nazi’s, I’d root for the Nazi’s.”
Absolutely true story.
The only difference today is that the Eagles have replaced the Redskins.

its alright.....
tho, I’d assume as a Mets fan, the Yanks are the lesser of 2 evils when talking about the Phillies (like I’d root for the Mets against the Red Sox…).
The Jets desecrate Giants stadium. Their fans jinxed the Giants 2 years in a row talking about NY SB’s.
Whether or not that’s true…I hate the Jets.

A... Jets Stadium?
what type of monstrosity would that be?
Never assume skill at bouncing a ball makes you smarter than the guy who built the court.
When there's a WILL there's a WAY
Hmm, monstrosity?
Like Chucky said, give the Jets our new stadium and we’ll keep our old rich-history-filled stadium with memories. If the Jets will always be the Jets, the new stadium could still add a few final touches.
Starting at the rim of the stadium, install a series of pipes that discharges high-pressured water. At either end zone, implement an over-sized pine scented puck that can emits such a fragrance. Moving along to the 50 yard line, installing an industrial type of drainage system would be required for high volume of water and frequent usage. For the final touch, a simple comma-shaped lever on the outside of the stadium.
This should take care of alot of the Jets’ stinkers! lol
I reckon we should give them the new stadium and keep our history
Because the G-Men weren't good enough this season; GO CINCY!
