No Complaints here
As long as Osi Umenyiora feels appropriately awed and honored by his teammates
You play to win the game!

Osi was voted Pope, didn’t you see the white smoke over Route 3?

There was no smoke
He disagreed with how they were lighting the fire and stormed off with the wood in tow.

Literally...
Just laughed so loud it disturbed my entire section of cubicles in the office.
Well played sir.

nice!
an offensive captain at quarterback (essential), a defensive captain at MLB (who is basically the QB of the defense), and a special teams captain (i love feagles!). very well rounded, excellent leaders. wouldn’t have picked the captains any differently myself

Anyone know if this is really our starting LBs?
Tom Rock of Newsday points out in his Tuesday chat that the three starting linebackers appear to be Danny Clark (strongside) Antonio Pierce (middle) and Chase Blackburn (weakside) just as it was at the end of 08.

Probably, but Simtin is going to see a lot of work on passing downs, which there will be a lot of against the Giants defense

Sintim
Will eventually play a lot. He has not practiced the past two days, though (groin, I believe).

don't forget michael boley...
…has a one-game suspension, also, so he will take up blackburn’s spot. sintim will find his way onto the field more and more too.

Great picks
No complaints about either one of these guys. I really admire Jeff Feagles and will be sad when he calls it a career. Nothing gave me more pleasure than to see his enthusiasm and constant support of his teammates game in and game out and to finally be rewarded with a championship ring brings a tear to any Giants’ fan’s eye. Have a good season Big Blue!

Glad for Feagles
Punter is such an under-appreciated position. But when u can pin the other team within their own 20 (and often from beyond the 10) w/o giving the other team a chance to return it, ur defense stands a much better chance. We Giants fans know exactly how important he is (let’s not forget he hold’s for Tynes), and it’s great to see him get the love from his teammates.
