Giants trim roster to 74
The New York Giants made three roster moves today, trimming their roster to 74 -- one less than the 75-man limit they needed to reach by 4 p.m. today.
As expected, they placed 4th-round draft pick Andre Brown (ruptured achilles tendon) on injured reserve.
They waived/injured offensive lineman Andrew Carnahan (ha, I got that one right!) and tight end Lee Vickers.

Tyree
Since Tyree survived the first round, do you think the Giants are still really considering him? If they were on the fence about him before, I’d hope they’d do as you predicted and release him early for a chance to get picked up over waiving him for the 53-Man roster and leaving him high and dry.
Is Tyree set to play against New England?
Bringing someone in?
Both Ralph Vacchiano and Jenny Vrentas pointed out that the G-Men have room to bring someone in. I wonder if they’ll bring in a back O/L?

No one has picked up ol’ G.R. yet. Might the Giants be looking in his direction?

lol...
I can bring my little cousin in to do that…truth be told they’d have to teach him how to get open.
Pennington it is...
the OL, not the QB. I guess Carnahan was an add on so they brought this dude back. Doesn’t matter, his tenure ends Saturday night regardless.
