Touring SB Nation: What others are saying
Let's go Touring SB Nation this afternoon and see what some of the other extraordinary bloggers around here are talking about.
- From Blogging the Boys, the Dallas Cowboys have signed veteran center/guard Duke Preston to bolster their offensive line. I don't know much about Preston, but I wonder if he is a guy the Giants considered.
- Speaking of the Cowboys, the following video did not come from BTB. Rather, it came from my buddy Rick Snider's blog. But, since it pokes a little fun at the Cowboys' new digs, I thought I had to pass it along. Hang in there until just about the 1:50 mark.
- Bleeding Green Nation is wondering what Eagles fans are expecting when Michael Vick plays for the first time tonight. BGN also pointed out a great article telling Eagles fans not to panic about the slow start of No. 1 pick Jeremy Maclin. If you simply replaced all the Maclin references with 'Hakeem Nicks' this could be directed at Giants fans.
- The Daily Norseman is whining that ESPN's Adam Schefter is just stirring up trouble for the Minnesota Vikings by talking about a possible locker room rift caused by players choosing sides between Brett Favre and Tarvaris Jackson.
- Buffalo Rumblings says it would be a bad idea for the Bills to trade wide receiver Roscoe Parrish, even with Terrell Owens around.
- It seems Baltimore Ravens fans aren't happy with the play of their team thus far. Well, Baltimore Beatdown doesn't want to hear it anymore.

Don't know much about this guy....Duke Preston
But the giants may be waiting for certain players to get cut as well.
Take Ruegamer for example…Seattle just cut him, there will also be more to come.
A few have mentioned that there could be something going on with Reugamer for the giants to let him walk and than to turn around and get released from Seattle…but I for one would welcome GR back. It would only be a 1 year contract, and plus Seattle may have more Oline depth than they initially thought…just because they let him go doesn’t necessarily mean something may be wrong.
didn't the Ravens destroy the Redskins?
I guess that’s so easy to do their fans don’t even consider it an achievement
Jerry Jones should have to sit in those bad seats.
And someone ought to tell her its not “Astroturf” anymore

The Ravens looked pretty damn good against the Paper Airplanes
Can’t please everyone I guess. From all the Bills games I saw, Duke Preston was nothing noteworthy. I mean the Bills just cut him, how much worse of a resume reference can you get?

I just watched the video
are you kidding me with those seats??? They gotta do something about that…the whole row looked like it sucked. This guy has got some nerve.
Also, wow…when they give you a field view of the stadium…that screen is WAY too low…How could a punter NOT hit it? It’s a very impressive stadium but how do you screw up like that? What’s crazy to me is that the screen could have been hung so much higher up…it’s almost like JJ did this on purpose or something.
the best part
is that they’ve been planning on temporarily raising it for a U2 concert all along, but Jerry’s still digging in his heels about raising it for football. What an ass.
No kidding
Watching the video, you have to come to the conclusion that it was done on purpose. There is no way that could be a mistake. If it is one, then its just mind blowing-ly dumb.
"Do-over"...."Do-over"..."Do-over".."Do-over"....Snore...
How to turn a three hour game into 6 hours..What will Frogman Jones think of next to gain an advantage?…Maybe “Tire-strips” that Police use…that will automatic raise up from the turf when the opponent attempts a running play?
The only person that would purchase..
One of those “Cement” seats would be a Mason..with a bottle of hooch!
Hey Partner...
Why dy’all buy that Ceeeemeent seat?..Well, I just got a might bit tired of watching the pokes lose on my black ‘n white TV in my double-wide trailer.. Had a dagone hard time getting it…Why partner?..Well they’s trying to save the dagone seats for the blind folks…Dang thing cost me the price of the seat and two head of cattle!!
Pardon the Interjection
I really just feel the need to say that this chick is adorable. That is all.
no doubt
I did NOT skip to 1:50 like Ed said to do b/c of that.

Oh and one more thing about Fav-rah
I agree w/ the Norseman. That was my immediate reaction when I heard it on Mike and Mike yesterday morning (but they sure had fun with it…‘Schism!’). I voiced my opinion on FanIQ.com saying pretty much the same thing, as did most of the other members there. ESPN is really becoming comparable to tabloid rubbish.
