Awesome site because it aggregates Giants coverage well-- keep it up!
Question: I've never bought tickets for or been to any Giants game in my life, despite being a lifelong fan. I'm now dating someone here in DC, where I live, and I mentioned going to a Giants game with her. She wants to go! But, having never been to a game before, we don't know where the good sections are and what a fair price to pay is.
We're looking specifically at the Eagles game on December 13 if it matters. Here are my biggest questions:
*What are the various face values for seats? I know it ranges, but what is the range at the different levels? It is hard to find this info online.
*I don't wanna end up sitting next to an Eagles fan. Which side is the home and which tends to be the visitors side as far as where fans of each team tend to sit?
*When sitting on the home side, how many rows from the field would I need to be in order to see Giants players on the sideline? Where along the sideline do the players benches tend to be?
*What are the yard lines I should be between for good sight views? 25 yard lines, or is that going to be too expensive? Also, are views at the third level from so high up that you can't even see the ball? Is the second level better, or can you only really follow the game without a screen from the first level, or can you not usually see the game well on anything other than the screen because of how fast the game moves?
*How far in advance is it fun to get there to tailgate (the game is at 8:20 pm) and are their "best" parking lot sections to tailgate in? Or some to avoid?
Thanks in advance for any help you fellow GIants fans can provide!
[Also, if anybody happens to know someone looking to sell tix to the Eagles game (or a similarly awesome home game this year), please let me know. I'm interested in 2 tix for now, though availability for 3-4 is always better.]
Thanks again, guys-- I know this isn't the typical strategy type question that people enjoy discussing on this site but hope one of you will be willing to help this lifelong Giants fan to understand what he should do in terms of buying a ticket for his first game watching the G-Men live! Exciting! Awesome, thank you and looking forward to hearing your helpful responses :)
