Here are a few New York Giants' notes for another July day without football.
- If you want to chat with Giants' wide receiver Sinorice Moss, ESPN's SportsNation is offering you that opportunity this afternoon.
- Plaxico Burress speaking to children? Are we sure this is a good idea?
- Giants' running back Ahmad Bradshaw ran a football camp for youngsters this week in his hometown.
- Some folks still think veteran linebacker Derrick Brooks would be a good fit for the Giants. Maybe so, but don't hold your breath. The Patriots' MO is to go get veterans like Brooks to fill a hole for a year or so. The Giants, with GM Jerry Reese, prefer to fill with younger players who have upside. Seems to have worked out pretty well for both teams.
- Did you know that the NFL Supplemental Draft is this afternoon? Do you care? Here is a quick preview of the top players available.
