Burress or Toomer?
I don't think we need a ton of comments, because there's a good debate on C.Sanchez' post "Plaxico was an all-time great." But let's put this to a vote:
75 words, eh? Well, Toomer is statistically the Giants all-time leading receiver. Strahan calls him the greatest of all time. Plaxico is probably the most athletic, & a gamebreaker. But McConkey is the all time greatest at deflecting passes with his helmet into another receiver's arms during the Superbowl.

Stats
I like the way this is going!
All this per WIkipedia:
Toomer: Giants’ all-time leader in yardage, receptions, postseason receptions, single-season receptions & yardage, single game yardage by a WR.
And not to be overlooked: Toomer was the Giants leading receiver in SB 42, with 6 catches and 84 yards.

Its really not even close tho
Toomer is obviously the best all time WR for the Giants. Stats show what the guy’s done.
Plaxico was the most talented tho. If the question was who would you rather have in their prime, Amani or Plax?
Id say Plax, tho to be honest that would more be in a game of Madden (tho I think they have player personalities in there more this season?)
If I was actually starting a real team, Id take Toomer in his prime. Talent is nice, but being a bonehead and an A-Hole like he seemed to be when not thrown the ball (not TO-like tho, more of just not playing 100% all the time with no ball).

Where is
Mark Ingram? If you’re gonna put Baker, you have to put Ingram.

Crap, i need to change my vote
I voted for Plax. I moreless voted for Plax on the premise of “most talented”, not the greatest!
-1for Plax, +1 for Toomer
Who’s the nut that voted for Phil? Phil himself? lol

Has to be Toomer
Could have been Burress in another 3-5 years – But Toomer was a part of the Giants turnaround – A consistent, outstanding, and classy player, who played for a number of years with 2nd rate qb’s throwing him the ball

Theres been a few lol
who played for a number of years with 2nd rate qb’s throwing him the ball
Dave Brown
Mike Cherry
Kent Graham
Danny Kanell
Jesse Palmer
I better stop, this is depressing! lol
But, you know what’s interesting. The Giant’s have had 3 QB’s that were #1 overall picks…
Eli
Carr
Collins
Not that it means anything, just saying lol!

wow
Dave Brown threw passes that looked more like bad, low punts.
We didn't even have a chance for the "perfect season", but we did have the perfect ending.

Remember Dave Brown's Underhand Flip?
He used to lob them up for grabs while he was falling backwards while being sacked on his a*s at 100 MPH by some hard charging lineman. Yeesh……..

Threet for U-Mich
last year looked like he was punting the ball when he threw. OSU’s Prior kinda looks like a low punt too

I like to forget that draft too
cuz Curtis Martin was drafted in the third round, and Tyrone Wheatley was drafted by the Gints in round 1.
BTW McNair (RIP) was 3rd overall and the great Ki-Jana Carter, Kerry’s teammate was #1….

F.G.
Frank Gifford.
"Eagles fans are a passionate group who love their team," said McNabb, "if not the actual players. It's not like winning a Super Bowl before the first month of the season is the hardest thing they've ever asked of me. That'd be all those times they asked me to go kill myself."

Consummate teammate
Toomer did whatever he had to do to help make the team successful. We saw hints of that from Plaxico for a brief moment, but it never came to full fruition. Vanished like smoke on the water.
