You always ask for more than you think you will realistically get. You shoot for the moon, and if the other side is stupid enough to give it you take it. You never ask for the price you will eventually settle for, you ask for more and see where it goes.

I wonder just who made that offer to the Giants and if they kept a straight face while on the phone.
I wonder if it was Mangini.
If that’s their initial offer Kiwanuka and a 1st round pick I don’t see them getting a deal done before the draft. Maybe when the Giants are on the clock at 29 they will see a player they want available and will be willing to give up Edwards for the 1st rd. pick.
