Free agency winners, losers
The biggest portion of the NFL free-agent frenzy is over. Who were the winners? The losers?
The Washington Times lists our New York Giants among the winners and the rest of the NFC East among the losers. Titles aren't won in March, but that sure does feel nice.
- Speaking of free agency, my good pal Rick Snider of the D.C. Examiner has an excellent piece on Redskins' owner Daniel Snyder's love for splashy free-agent signings.
- Here is an interesting interview with Coach Tom Coughlin. Kudos to GiantsFootballBlog for the find.
- Over at Buffalo Rumblings, they are reeling from the shock of adding Terrell Owens to the Buffalo Bills' roster. They can't figure out if they should be thrilled, or terrified. At Blogging the Boys, Cowboy fans are hoping Roy Williams is ready for the spotlight.

The Bills?
I mean really? This was personally hilarious for me as my Dad and my brother are huge Bills fans. I was having dinner with my parents when the news flashed over the restaurant TV. I was laughing until I saw the look on my Dad’s face. He’s been a fan for decades, and he was so distraught.
Homer: Aw, twenty dollars! I wanted a peanut!
Homer's Brain: Twenty dollars can buy many peanuts!
Homer: Explain how!
Homer's Brain: Money can be exchanged for goods and services!
Homer: Woo-hoo!

"he was so distraught."
LOL sorry for your dad. I think Bills fans are in for a treat!! I wouldn’t have gambled with my Giants, but you guys will get a very good WR who can help you win games. Maybe not being wanted on 30 out of 32 teams will have a positive effect on TO. Hard to believe, but if it does you’ll be glad they signed him. IF IT DOESN’T…
don’t let your poor dad to suffer too long!!!

If that post was adressed to me, I just wanted to clarify I am NOT, repeat NOT a Bills fan.

no offense intend BBT&T
I Laughed at your story about the horror in your dad’s eye when he heard the news. I can only imagine the pain of a long time BILLS fan, like your dad, being saddled with TO.
Like he has been thru enough with the BILLS!!!! I wish him the best and look forward to read more of your posts!

Question
Is it too obvious to think that TO will have a pretty darn good year? As a player, he will add nicely to this offense… and usually his antics don’t ruin things until at least a full year or two in.
I think this is a great signing for the Bills. They’re on the brink of losing their team to Toronto. Their fanbase is reeling from a stomach punch of a season — 5-0 to out of the playoffs. They needed a splash, and they got one that won’t be a fiscal killer.

3/16 Off Season program
What does the program consist of? Basically just conditioning and lifting, no on the field in shorts kind of stuff?

My question above ^^^ is about
the March 16th, off-season program that Tom Couglin talked about in the interview that Ed mentioned in the body of this thread
Here is an interesting interview with Coach Tom Coughlin
Does anyone known what they’ll be doing?

We won't be winners
in free agency until theres another division title and these guys prove they can play.
It's not easy being Giants fan in Philly.. but it sure is satisfying

I think TO is a pretty decent move by the Bills
Assuming he wants to keep playing and making money, he’s gotta buckle down and be a good soldier this year. If everyone sees that he’s on a one-year contract and STILL acting like a headcase and complaining about his QB not throwing him the ball enough and all that, nobody’s going to sign him next summer. If they’d given him a multiyear deal, THAT would’ve been a bad idea.
