An Open Thread for today, a very spring-like Sunday here in the Northeast. So, discuss whatever sports-related items you would like.

I will leave you with a couple of thoughts.

You guys know I have been writing New York Yankees' stuff over at Pinstripe Alley for a few weeks. Well, as of a few days ago I am now co-lead blogger at PA along with Travis Goldman, who pops in here occasionally as 'TravisG.' Come on by and talk Yankees when you can tear yourself away from here. By the way, BBV is still my first love and you don't have to worry. I won't short-change it.
What is the deal with Jeff George, who still thinks he belongs in the NFL? The guy is 41 and hasn't played for 8 years. Maybe he should try the UFL.
Some of you may not be too keen on the Giants drafting North Carolina wide receiver Hakeem Nicks. But Baltimore Beatdown is begging for the Ravens to grab him.
Niners Nation is wondering if Mike Singletary is the right head coach for the 49ers.
I haven't mentioned it, but over at Mocking the Draft the SBN Mock Draft is rolling along.

If the DA was willing to do 5 years probation, community service and a big fine, that deal might have been cut a long time ago. DA may need some jail time to save face, after the public/Bloomberg furor initially (remember, Ahmad Bradshaw did two 30 day stints for a parole violation stemming from stealing a gameboy out of a dorm room … although I think that was Virginia)

Let’s hope it’s not major jail time, if any (or how about he does jail during the week – so no practice -and plays anyway on Sundays – just like 2007 !!!)

You said it, Bradshaw's time was for a PAROLE VIOLATION.

Plaxico hasn’t even had the opportunity to screw probation up.
YET!!!???

And hey… I was kinda hoping for some NYG related horse names from you guys

That sounds good to me. I will take it. It seems to me that this has taken a back seat to things going other things going on. Hopefully a deal will get done and we will have Plax for next season.

What about from the NFL?? Is what the Giants gave him going to be enough to satisfy Goodell or not?? I believe he will get 4 games and that will be that.

Nicks

Is apparently gonna either be drafted by the Ravens or Dolphins. Either way he isn’t gonna last tot he Giants so if they really want him they are gonna have to make a trade.

I guess if I was betting, Id bet that Nicks is not gonna be on the Giants
