Wednesday Walk Around the NFL 3.11.09
Good Morning Giants fans!!! It's Wednesday again, and it's time to take a look at the stories making headlines around the NFL:
- Not one of you bid on Michael Vick's house when I told you about it weeks ago? Well, it's still available!
- Unless something changes, get ready to see the Lions get pummeled again on Thanskgiving.
- Pete Prisco takes a look at some of the guys who will step in as starters for big name players who have moved on to other teams.
- The Sporting News has a list of the remaining unrestricted free agents.
- John over at Gang Green Nation talks about the final beam being set at the new Giants Stadium. I have to disagree with him though, the new stadium is not going to cure the Jets of "little brother-itis".
- NFL.com has 5 teams that could rebound in 2009.
Remember to check in tomorrow for the next installment in the "Great Moments in Giants Stadium History"
The draft is 6 weeks away.
Training Camp is 4 months away.
We'll get through this.

New Stadium
Anyone know what the wind is going to be like in the new stadium? Is it going to be the same as the old stadium?
I’ve always felt the Jets should move back to New York City.

I've always felt
They should move to L.A.
It will be interesting to see the new wind patterns, because I don’t think the new stadium has quite the same “bowl-esque” shape as Giants Stadium.

I forget
who it was, but someone on a much earlier thread with some inside info said the winds would be much different … that they would likely blow in one direction rather than swirl.

LOL!
I’ve said the Jets should go to LA too! I know more Cowboy and Steeler fans in this area then Jets fans! And if they moved to LA I would not have to listen to all of the talk radio clowns on WFAN talk about the Jets all day long and the same 10 obnoxious Jet fans call in and whine about their team that started 6-3 and is now in a 5 game loosing streak instead of talking about the Giants who have the history and Fan Base in this area.

Hey don't knock the Jets....
They’ve won more August Super Bowls in NFL history.

Free agents
Donovan McNabb must be thinking he should have gone to Chicago. He’ll have two new tackles to try to deal with Osi and Tuck.
