D-Day For Big Blue

The Giants must run the table or it is all over. They will be on the outside looking in with 11-6 definitely but maybe with 12-5. The defense has been the most disappointing aspect of this team's play this year. The worst since the 2000 Super Bowl. Jerry Reese will have to justify the big contract he gave to Eli, who is one for six in post season appearences, while allowing Derrick Ward, Amani Toomer and David Tyree to walk--and they were contributors to the 07 Super Bowl as Eli was. That said, anything less than Saint-Colts in the Super Bowl makes this season a bust all around!

What?

11-6? 12-5?

I don’t wanna do any of that, that would mean make the playoffs and get knocked out after one or 2 games.

And Toomer was as old as the hills. Ward costed too much (tho..vs. Brandon Jacobs..dunno) and Tyree was only ever good during the playoff run…never before that (aside from special teams.

…and teh Saints and/or Colts are not making the SB.

10-6 might be enough to get in

I am unsure about the Pack or Cowboys going higher than that. 11-5 would be much better though.

In the NFC

I think 9-7 could get you in depending on how the rest shakes out….Not the case in the AFC but that has been the case for sometime now..

I guess today's battle of the bulge time?

We won D-day, lets see if the wwII analogy holds up

Never assume skill at bouncing a ball makes you smarter than the guy who built the court.

"Battle of the bulge"

resulted in the eagles, I mean germany routing the unsuspecting giant, I mean american troops.

Despite General Patton having the best gameplan, er operational plan of his life, his tanks broke down and the panzers broke through the defenses.

I guess we focus on japan now (wild card)
