I'm not throwing the towel in just yet...
While the G-Men have slumped into a 4 game losing skid, the players, coaches and the fans have to be feeling pretty down. This team has not played up to expectations coming into this season, but has shown flashes of being good. We're all upset with the coaching staff, but does anyone really think that Gilbride or Sheridan are going to get the axe halfway into the season? Absolutely not. Should they? That's a whole different question. The Giants are an average 5-4 heading into the bye week, but the good news is that key players like Boley, Canty, and even Aaron Ross will all have plenty of time to get healthy. A game and half behind the Cowboys in the NFC East sounds awful, but I still believe this team has what it takes to overcome that and at least make the playoffs, possibly even win the division. I'd rather have this team playing their worst football in the middle of the season before their bye than at the end of the season when the playoffs are fast approaching. So don't hit the 'flush' button on this season just yet, there's still light at the end of this tunnel.

I agree 100%
Beat Atlanta playoffs are defiantly in sight. Right now the WC picture id the Iggles and Dirty Birds (last years teams) and we play them both again. I dare say if we beat them both, we are in.

Four weeks can make a difference.
Just look at where we were four weeks ago and where we are now. Things can change seemingly quickly, especially in our division.
No need to throw in the towel just yet. I hope other teams completely count us out, though.
But – We have to start playing to win, not just playing to not lose.
We didn't even have a chance for the "perfect season", but we did have the perfect ending.

You don't win anything in the first 8 weeks
and you don’t lose anything in the first 8 weeks.
The Giants were 5-3 in first half, and 0-1 to start off the 2nd half.
Go 5-3 again. We good.
DO WHAT JERRY HAIRSTON DO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

10-6
Will only be good if you beat the Falcons as one of those wins. They don’t have the toughest second half and should finish at worst 10-6. Dallas shouldn’t finish worse than 10-6 now, with washington twice and oakland still to come, Philly should finish near the 10-6 mark too. That Falcons game will be huge for both you and Philly.
Good Luck, until we play you, because I hate Philly so much more than you guys.

Boys fan here..
I’m looking at the rest of the Cowboys’ schedule and honestly going to the Meadowlands is still the scariest game of the remainder. Philly coming to Dallas is big but the fact that the Giants came into Dallas and beat us is stool looming.
I’d be really suprised if the Giant’s don’t get about 9-10 wins.. 11 is a definite possibility. Things look bad now..but the line is still formidable enough to win games late in the season. (Which I hope is the case with the Boys as well!) People are enjoying writing a successful team off; but, it comes with the success…
