Fear Not Big Blue Community!
We may have lost four in a row, we may not be the dominant team that it appeared we would be in the preseason, but we are still 5 and 4. We did get five wins and I seriously doubt that Coughlin will be unable to turn things around in New York.
Many teams have had losing streaks and finished well. The Parramatta Eels of Australian Rugby League had a terrible start to the season, at one piont odds getting to 120-1 of them winning the Grand Final, in spite of that the Eels were able to turn it around and actually got to the Grand Final (they lost but still!). I also remind you of the 2007 Giants team, we didnt start great and only got into the playoffs via wildcard, but we won the Superbowl. We didnt let the fact that the patriots were undefeated deter us and make us believe we couldnt win. I realise that this season we started well and are in a downturn mid-season, but other teams have surely come back from this kind of thing and we can too. The only reason I havent given examples of these kinds of comebacks is because I havent noticed them during my NFL-following life (only about 3 years). You guys know it has happened before and I firmly believe we will come back again. Remember: a wild card is still a way to get into the playoffs and it seemed to turn out well for us two years ago.

It is what it is
I’ve spent the last 4 weeks typing what we should do to win.
Its had no effect (although last week we did a lot of what I said we should be doing)
So right now, I’m just in it for the ride, and hopefully it’ll end up like this

I have faith
that it will be close to that.
It would save the Giants Defence a lot of time if QBs just stayed down!

Good Stuff Chucky
Never loose hope in your team, thats the spirit. Many teams have come back form large defecits, and this defecit aint that large. Lets just hope this false hope is not falsely inspired, as with the South Sydney Rabbitohs. Russel Crowe promised success but that has not been the case.
GO TO: behind the steel curatin and read a load of sentimental drivel i wrote when i had way too much time on my hands entitled “Why Steelers?”
