Lets go Blue!

As inconsitant as Manningham has been it hurts he’s not playing. I just don’t think Hixon can make plays against these corners, he lacks the quickness, agility, and elusivness that Mario has. And he’ll probabbly get most of the snaps today instead of Nicks.

by Landeta on Nov 1, 2009 12:06 PM EST reply actions

One more thing

the Giants better not take Hixon off of the return teams because he’s starting this week. That just seems like something they would do.

by Landeta on Nov 1, 2009 12:08 PM EST reply actions

Alright Giants!

Key, key game here. 3 game losing streaks aren’t the death of a season, but it’s better not to have them!

by Edgware on Nov 1, 2009 12:15 PM EST reply actions

I really hope that Boss finds his way in the game today...

maybe not a 8 catch 100yd 2TD breakout thing we all know he could do. I’d like to see him in the end zone a few times tho, and at least make about 4 catches.

As a side note….been a while since I’ve been really into a Giants game. AZ last week a little bit, but the Yanks were more of a priority.

Before that, was the Dallas game that really seemed like a good fight by the Gints.

Lets do this today.

DO WHAT JERRY HAIRSTON DO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Or, with Ham out...

Perhaps more Beckum? Though Boss sighting’s would be welcomed!

I like both.

Maybe even a Darcey Johnson sighting?

Sure would have been nice to have Barden get his first action this year..

A win is a win

But I’d like to put away the whole “Giants are overrated talk” too. Having a 3-0 win won’t really help with that.

It’ll take more than just this game. Beating the Chargers next week as well should shut up the critics.

While I don’t believe TC should be fired. he needs to be held accountable for his continued support of Gilbride as the O coordinator. His play calling is an absolute disgrace. In 8 games I can only recall one pass on first down when the Giants reach the red zone. It’s always the same. A running play to Jacobs. The under-utilization of Boss is a joke. It seems when Boss makes a catch it’s a big play.

Sheridan has been badly out-coached the last 3 weeks. A huge mistake by TC not aggressively pursuing Dom Capers.

Injuries aren’t an excuse. Each and every team has injuries. These are supposed to be NFL players. AP was terrible last year. He’s old and slow. The Giants D tackles get pushed around. They are not getting the penetration they got in the SB.

no chance. This is the no adjustment until the game is over coaching staff.

by lboogie25 on Nov 1, 2009 1:34 PM EST up reply actions

Looks like they aren’t even making adjustments then.

by potroast on Nov 1, 2009 1:35 PM EST up reply actions

Nice play, Osi

Perfect jump, perfect positioning…

by sdquinn on Nov 1, 2009 1:33 PM EST reply actions

So what's the difference between the team that's playing today...

And the team that beta the Cowboys,

is it Kenny Phillips? I think yes.

by FreeBradshaw on Nov 1, 2009 1:33 PM EST reply actions

Well, of course

And now Osi is hurt

This season keeps getting better and better

by Syler on Nov 1, 2009 1:34 PM EST reply actions

Well it appears as though Kiwi's gonna get some snaps

Can’t be any worse than Ois.

not

by tito (eight and oh) on Nov 1, 2009 1:34 PM EST up reply actions

Kiwi will be in there

But that means Tollefson will be spelling him.

As opposed to Kiwi spelling Osi

At this point, anyone should get a chance. Osi has not been the Osi of old all year. I know it takes a while to get going after coming back from injury, but he has not been good.

The real problem is Sheridan, though.

by Jonathan. on Nov 1, 2009 1:37 PM EST up reply actions

Wouldn’t it be Kiwi?

by Jonathan. on Nov 1, 2009 1:35 PM EST up reply actions

good thing this isn't baseball and the playoffs aren't in October/November

The Eagles and Cardinals weren’t either at this point (McNabb had a benching in his future).

WTF??????

MORE INJURIES IS ALL WE NEED MAN.

DECIMATED…WE ARE PLAYING WITH @ND STRINGERS

GO NY GIANTS!!

I haven't liked the AP bashing

but he waited too long to commit to McNabb there.

by Mount17 on Nov 1, 2009 1:35 PM EST reply actions

you’ll come around. Smart guy gets people lined up and all that, but you need more of a physical presence from your Mike.

by lboogie25 on Nov 1, 2009 1:35 PM EST up reply actions

Remind me

of one good play he has made this season

DB

by DukBudr on Nov 1, 2009 1:36 PM EST up reply actions

it was incomplete anyway.

Injuries

5 on IR too

Ross, Alford, Canty, Phillips, Brown, Ware, Barden, Whimper, Sintim, Manningham,Moss and these are off the top of my head and now OSI???

MacKenzie banged up, Bradshaw crack in foot, Manning heel problem

GO NY GIANTS!!

by RobDomaine on Nov 1, 2009 1:36 PM EST reply actions

Yea Osi dance

you make one tackel and like a jerk nice

by Landeta on Nov 1, 2009 1:37 PM EST via mobile reply actions

you can see why he'd be confused

They’ve gotten so many first downs already, it’s not too much to assume that any play they run resulted in a first down.

Pride should have shown up last week. Now it’s guts/desire/resiliency.

by lboogie25 on Nov 1, 2009 1:38 PM EST up reply actions

Someone better do something.

Because Im sick of seeing the D getting walked on an the O giving it up.

Now's time

for encroachment by Robbins.

by Mount17 on Nov 1, 2009 1:38 PM EST reply actions

that would be brutal at this point.

by lboogie25 on Nov 1, 2009 1:39 PM EST up reply actions

Par for the course, though.

by Jonathan. on Nov 1, 2009 1:39 PM EST up reply actions

They’ll probably pick up 6 on this.

I have no faith in our mangaled d.

by Jonathan. on Nov 1, 2009 1:39 PM EST reply actions

new to the thread and this is embarrassing yet again where is my team at?

by Wcjaercks on Nov 1, 2009 1:39 PM EST reply actions

This is the team.. I put this on the coaching staff. Depends on the week if it’s Killdrive or Sheridan.

by lboogie25 on Nov 1, 2009 1:40 PM EST up reply actions

where are

kehl and goff? are they that bad and underdeveloped that they can’t edge blackburn?

by cntrlalt on Nov 1, 2009 1:39 PM EST reply actions

Exactly why I put it on the staff. Where’s Sintim? No Barden? Beckum? Boss? gimme a break.

by lboogie25 on Nov 1, 2009 1:41 PM EST up reply actions

Who knows? Blackburn is my boy and a hell of a special teams guy, but eveyrone and their mother knows he’s not a starting OLB. He’s OK in spot action, but that’s it.

by Jonathan. on Nov 1, 2009 1:41 PM EST up reply actions

Wait, Vick's a big passing threat now?

Since when? Johnston is retarded. Always has been.

DO WHAT JERRY HAIRSTON DO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

by FreeBradshaw on Nov 1, 2009 1:42 PM EST reply actions

They’ll go for the 2 point conversion and get it easily

I missed the first period of the Rangers game for this BS.

by Jonathan. on Nov 1, 2009 1:43 PM EST reply actions

another 3 and whatever and they convert i betcha we cannot stop anybody on third downs lately

by Wcjaercks on Nov 1, 2009 1:44 PM EST reply actions

Johnston shows his genius again.

He doesn’t know what is wrong with our defense. Gee, why do they pay your dumb ass to be on TV again? Half the defense is out with injury and the other half is being “guided” by Bill Sheridan. Take a wild guess what’s wrong with the D, Darryl.

by Jonathan. on Nov 1, 2009 1:44 PM EST reply actions

Amazing

a couple pass defenses in a row. Like they care.

by brisulph on Nov 1, 2009 1:45 PM EST reply actions

by FreeBradshaw on Nov 1, 2009 1:45 PM EST reply actions

i dont believe it they actually stopped them…this is sickening and I’m not gonna blame the coaches either…players need to make plays period

by Wcjaercks on Nov 1, 2009 1:46 PM EST reply actions

Welp

I said AP would lead the Eagles to a TD, but he had to settle for a FG

by DukBudr on Nov 1, 2009 1:46 PM EST reply actions

by lboogie25 on Nov 1, 2009 1:46 PM EST reply actions

We have two really talented catching TEs

Yet neither of them ever get a ball thrown to them unless it’s by accident or by grace of God.

by Jonathan. on Nov 1, 2009 1:48 PM EST up reply actions

i don’t know they keep throwing it down field to the eagles

by Wcjaercks on Nov 1, 2009 1:47 PM EST reply actions

Why is Barden still inactive if Manningham is?

Let the big man get some plays in.

P.S.—Those who might still want James Butler over C.C. Brown, he just intercepted a Stafford pass in the end zone, ran it out, and then stepped back and was tackled for a safety.

by Branta on Nov 1, 2009 1:47 PM EST reply actions

unfortunately he’s inactive. if we are gonna lose the next 9 we might as well give him a shot

DB

by DukBudr on Nov 1, 2009 1:51 PM EST up reply actions

Brown is so bad

it has me yearning for the return of Butler.

by FrankB0318 on Nov 1, 2009 5:03 PM EST up reply actions

Manning looks absolutely terrible

Might be time to try a no-huddle. That usually seems to settle him down.

2nd and 6.. let’s not run again, let’s throw downfield for another 20 yards.. Yay!! 3rd and long.
