Now this is GOOD news
From Mike Garafolo comes word that both rehabbing linebacker Michael Boley and long-forgotten defensive tackle Chris Canty were back on the practice field today.
That, of course, does not mean they will be ready to contribute on Sunday. A good sign for the long haul, nonetheless. So, something to feel good about.

After the bye
Looks like Canty and Ross will hopefully be back after the bye week. I think Boley may be back after that.
not so sure about Ross....
but I hope your right.

Yeah I think you're right
I thought I read something saying that Ross might be back after the bye, I have confused him with Boley.
2nd half of the season
Remember 2007 we didn’t start we finished strong. 2008 the opposite. This year hopefully we will start clicking all on cylinders late in the year with everyone coming back after the bye.
2ND HALF
If we can win this game this Sunday the second half doesn’t look that bad. The only games that worry me are the Thanksgiving game against Denver and the last game of the season against the Vikings, but that game may be meaningless.
I would worry also about rematches
with Philly and Dallas.

Don't forget the Redskins
Remember the year Dallas was total garbage. Their only win came in the division, they beat the Skins. Same thing could happen with the Skins. These guy are in a position that they can go balls to the wall. Nobody is expecting anything from the Skins. They can let their hair down and just go all out now.
Your worried about the Skins?
I live in the DC area and let me tell you they are a joke. I know, I know ANY GIVEN SUNDAY. Trust me, they are in total disarray down here. But the Skins should be the last team you should be worrying about right now. Plus they are the 2nd to last game of the season. The Gmen need to take things one week at a time. If they take care of business and play the way they are capable of, then the Washington game shouldn’t matter.

Being on a roll ...
going into the playoffs is always the key to winning the Supe. We cut it real close in ’07 with our only “getting on a roll” being that loss to NE.
If we’re healthy, and the coaches use a bit more aggression in the scheme on both O & D, watch out !!
Fix Problems First
Last several games have revealed problems. Easy wins before that obsecured others. Nobody believes Eagles will be an easy win. Hopefully team has addressed the problems, but frankly, wouldn’t surprise me to see Giants still having problems making TDs in the red zone.
But the thing is
and we can discuss this until we are blue in the face, do we need to fix problems or just execute the called plays. If Ham drops a sure TD, that’s not a problem (well it is, he’s paid to catch the ball), that’s execution. I think this will all work itself out starting this week.
Excellent news
Now our receivers just need to find their hands and the running backs their legs.
When its 3rd and long, throw the ball past the marker.

An LB, a DT, and maybe soon a CB?
yes please. the sooner the better. maybe out D might start looking like itself again soon.
This is a pleasant surprise
I actually had tricked myself into thinking Canty and Ross won’t play for the rest of the year with their nagging injuries. With Boley, i thought he was on track for next week, and though Sintim was active last week, it’s better than an injury inactive!
This is great news!!
Finally, some of our wounded are heading back..Not in game shape yet but at least able to practice and get back on the field..This is going to be very good for our team.
YAY!
A note to all of these guys…
DON’T RUSH!

Good, hopefully one of these guys can spell Bradshaw and his newly discovered cracked foot.
It’s unbelievable, it’s been one step forwards and two steps back with regards to injuries this entire year.
Well here is some bad news..
AB has a cracked Metatatarso bone in his foot..It is not fully broken but they are saying he’ll need surgery to fix it…I’m not sure he’ll last the season now .He’s tough but this is bad news.
Good thing...
…Danny Ware’s elbow has healed. Maybe we’ll finally get to see what he is capable of in the regular season if he is called upon to spell Bradshaw.

Nice....
Getting Canty and Boley back will be the most important for us IMO. The more pressure we can get on opposing QB’s the better our secondary will look, regardless of who’s in there. Not to mention, Boley is great in pass coverage.
Canty and Boley
They won’t play this week, but it’s nice to know they are close to getting back. Aaron Ross is another matter.
