Sources: "Patriots trading two-time Pro Bowl linebacker Thomas?"
"New England Patriots linebacker Adalius Thomas didn't get the fun of being part of the tromping the Pats gave the Tennessee Titans on Sunday because he was mysteriously on the inactive list. That was the first time he's been a healthy scratch since he was a rookie with the Baltimore Ravens back in 2000. "
"The two-time Pro Bowler wasn't even at the stadium on Sunday and he wasn't hurt. It appears the Patriots are trying to trade the fella, according to the Boston Globe."
NFL Network analyst Deion Sanders told viewers of NFL Game Day on Sunday that Thomas was upset and was going to work it out with his coach.
"But head coach Bill Belichick basically said Thomas didn't play because his performance was lacking, which has got to hurt when you're the same guy who signed a $35 million deal two years ago."

I believe that
the Pats play a 3-4 and he plays the rushing outsider LB so I cant envision a scenario where the Giants would bring a guy like that in… We have Sintim who if he could get healthy would seriously upgrade our LBs… Boleys injury hurts also but hopefully he will be ready to go when he gets back.
Not to mention
the Pats have a way of getting a good return in their trades and trading a guy 1 season before its apparent he’s on a big down swing. Trading with the Pats scares me.

interesting...
but it’s a stretch IMO.
don’t know how Thomas would help out our Secondary…especially coming from a 3-4, where GiantsRB27 pointed out he is used as a pass rusher.
We just need Boley to get back and hopefully Sintim can learn to cover…

On Sintim
He played in the Raiders game, I def saw in on some special teams plays and then he is inactive for the Saints game?? I dont get that…. We could really use him
Sintim got some rep's
vs. the girl scouts a terrible team. didn’t Barden also play in that game? or the KC game? (same idea)

How about...
Just like the Jets have called Mangini on a couple of occasions (5th pick in draft and B. Edwards) the Giants need to call Steve Spags and ask about safety Atogwe…its atleast worth a call.

Might as well save the minutes....
Atogwe is one of the only things the Rams have.
Plus, I doubt the Giants would give the picks needed to get him.

Atogwe might cost a lot
BUT, he knows the system as since Spags is the coach and he’s someone who could help a lot now. But like you said hes a young guy so he could cost a good bit.
