Date: Oct. 18, 2009
Location: New Orleans, La..
Time: 1 p.m. EDT Stadium: Louisiana Superdome

Well fellas

I wish I would be here to see it, but I am off for a family function. So I am taping the game (yes, I lack a PVR… saving all money for a wedding and house is tough sometimes), and will be partaking this evening once I get home. GO G-MEN!

since the ’Boys game. I think the Saints have alot of advantages, but it will be a huge win for us. Anyone why sintim is inactive after playing last week?

Marino, Esiason, and Cower picked the Saints.

Miss these big games with big Blue.

With the Yanks playing 4 straight nail biters against good teams, I really love these games where the teams are evenly matched.

Lets do this (and like the Yanks…lets win too!)

I hate the Eagles

Even when we’re not playing them the Eagles are the bane of my existence. The Philadelphia FOX affiliate is carrying the Eagles Raiders late game today and since it’s not a doubleheader day for FOX, that means no 1:00 game in my area. I can’t believe I’m going to miss the first Giants game I’ve really been keyed up about since week 2. Arrghh!

Are you ready for some football?

I can’t wait for the G-men to win this game and shut the critics up once and for all. Eli manning is 31-9 in his last 40 starts including playoffs. He is 6-1 in domes. The Saints are 0-3 or -04 following a bye week. The Saints are missing key linemen in todays game. Eli is returning to the house his father built. So many good story lines for a great game.

Defense wins Championships and the Giants defense will be the difference today!

Let’s get it on!!!!

new plan to win the game

Long TD drive that doesn’t leave them enough time to score, then a TD drive on the first possession of the second half. All of the sudden, we’re down by 3

the Saints have had 4 drives, and they’ve scored TDs

What makes anyone think we’ll stop them at some point

well they've gotten lucky, to some extent

That dropped INT that turned into a 1st down, and the lousy pass interference call. Maybe if one of those breaks goes our way we’d have a stop. And eventually, something like that is going to go our way.

by RobDomaine on Oct 18, 2009 2:38 PM EDT reply actions

safety?

or touchback? wouldn’t it be touchback since saints had possession for a brief time?

by maw150 on Oct 18, 2009 2:39 PM EDT reply actions

That would be a touchback

because they had possession.

no safety since the Defense established possession and then recovered by the Giants. Touchback, Giants ball.

I have never in all my 30 years of football heard that garbage. Once that comes out it’s out.

Wait, wait, wait

on a catch a receiver has to maintain possession all the way to the ground. How is that different?

Yes

It was the logical thing to do

Take the momentum into the 2nd half

by Syler on Oct 18, 2009 2:43 PM EDT up reply actions

Down by 10

on the road.

Get the ball back in the 2nd half.

How long you been watching the Giants.

We are not a puss offense with Eli FKING Manning back there.

Hindsight is 20/20, and it doesn’t mean it was the right thing to do.

If you thought, before that play happend, that you wanted to take a knee, you are completely wrong.

Dude, seriously

How many times has Eli marched us down the field at the end of the half and game? They will put the ball in his hands every time in that situation and they should.

by potroast on Oct 18, 2009 2:43 PM EDT up reply actions

nope

I want it in eli’s hands every time

Even if i knew that was going to happen

by Willgfass on Oct 18, 2009 2:43 PM EDT up reply actions

ALL REFS MUST DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are giving this game away….how many f*cking opportunities will they give the Saints….it makes me sick to see us losing like this over this kind of BS!!!!!!

I've only seen one call

And that’s the PI against Webster.

One flag wouldn’t have stopped Drew Brees and his receivers.

This is on the Giants Pass Rush and Secondary.
