David Tyree will be a Raven

Both Pro Football Talk and the National Football Post are reporting that former New York Giants Super Bowl hero David Tyree will sign today with the Baltimore Ravens.

Good for Tyree. We know he still wants to play. Wouldn't it be kind of weird to see Tyree play against the Giants in the Super Bowl?

Congratulations!

Tyree will ever be a honorary Giant player. He deserves that shot at Baltimore.

Yeah, we like NFL here in Brazil.

same here

We don’t play Baltimore this year, so I hope he has a stellar 11 games and gets paid coming out of it

You play to win the game!

Great ... trade Moss for him ...

and then we can feel like “we got something for Moss” …

I'm surprised it took so long..

Every team out there saw “the catch”..We’d need a crowbar to wrench him loose now..Shame he was let go..He’s never had great camps, but was a really good game player..I have a framed 24X24" poster of “the catch” in my sports bar upstairs..One day I hope to have the opportunity to have him sign it.

well it's official

any lingering hatred I had towards the Ravens after 2000 is now completely gone. How can I root against Joe Flacco, Ray Rice, and now David Tyree, especially now that Brian Billick is gone. I was waiting for Ray Lewis to retire, but I’ve even come to begrudgingly respect him as a football player.

Especially since he (Lewis) single handledly stopped San Diego.

And I know you share my unjustified hatred for the Chargers.

definitely

I can’t explain it, they just annoy me. Maybe it’s Rivers, maybe it’s Tomlinson. Who knows, I just don’t like the Chargers.

I think for me it's definitely Rivers.

Without a doubt.

He’s doing a great job, it’s just when I see his face…I just wanna rearrange it.

I'll join this hateclub

I hate the chargers for no other reason than i do. The only AFC team I dislike more is the Patriots

BTW, how's Rice doing.

Haven’t heard word one re him since he left Rutgers.

Rice

Ray Rice is doing very well in Baltimore. He has 2 tds on the year and is a great runner and receiver like he was at Rutgers…let us not forget Brian Leonard in Cinci either…

Okay, there's another guy

I haven’t heard word one about. Good to see Rice doing well. How can you not root for guys from Mr. Magoo’s Alma Mater? All together now:

Stoney Woodson

The Eagles have signed Stoney Woodson to their practice squad.

They must be hoping he will spill the beans on the Giants defence!

No way Stoney can possibly do that

If they pick his brains all they’ll get is “boogers”.

Great news about David Tyree

He’ll always be our hero..and I am extremely happy for him..Now we need to find Ed a job…(is that “brown nosing or what?”)

As a NY Giants fan now living in Baltimore...

(…unfortunately!) I have to say it is a good thing to see Tyree back in uniform and it’ll be great to see him perform locally. He seems like a good character guy and very deserving of a shot in the League again. I wish him well.
