My new Setup

I've spent the whole summer renovating this room.
Beneath the TV will be a mantle and a fireplace eventually. The town requires a permit for that though, blah, blah blah. I just tought I'd share it nearing completion. Couch comes on Saturday, and then some minor stuff and it will be done minus the fireplace.
It's a pretty sweet place to watch the Gmen destory people.

nice
my house has been a construction site since I bought it in Aug. ’07. I mean ripping down walls and everything. Put a bar in the basement, on one side, just now finishing the other side… I have drylok on my hands as I type this!
My tips: 1. Paint that back wall Giants blue, 2. Glue the painted baseboard trim so you don’t have to putty & repaint the finishing nail holes, 3. Think about a pellet insert for that slot, it’ll heat your home, it’s clean & doesn’t need to be exhaust piped over the roofline, cheaper than oil, easy to maintain. Or a propane fireplace… impress the chicks with pushbutton fire

Looks good
Now, if you can figure out a way to have a fridge and shitter close by, you’ll be in business.

Fridge is nearby
Shitter is a lil farther away.
There will be a beer fridge about 10 feet from the TV. :)

you should get one of those things
they use at the bank to get your deposit from the drive-thru, the vacuum-suction tube. Retro-fit your fridge to load beer cans/bottles like shotgun shells so you can push a button and up the tube it goes directly to your chair
