Big wins against the best in the league
Players progressed in their development
No let down with Strahan and OSI being gone.
Other tid bits and some good video of memorable plays.

That Is great perspective
and the definitely the best part was that all of the young core progressed, especially Eli, Webster, Tuck, Phillips, Jacobs, etc …
I would argue that there was a let down with Osi & Stray gone, but things should get back to normal when Osi is back.
Perspective
As upset as we are about not playing this weekend, I think we all have to realize that this team is set up to have opportunities to win for the next several seasons. You can’t always cash them in, but a lot of NFL teams would trade places with us.

A lot of positives, but...
Theres no washing off a blown 11-1 start and 12-4 season and I’m a bit worried that our QB cant even play in his own stadium after the autumnal equinox
Okay, just so I understand it... in your wildest fantasy, you are in hell. And you are co-running a bed and breakfast with the devil.
Not worried about Eli
The guy just had the best season of his career. I’m with ‘pot.’ He is a smart, talented guy who will figure it out. Besides which, better play-calling would help. As I have said, you have to put players in position to succeed. KG set Eli up to fail Sunday.

Eli will come into his own
during the next 3 seasons. “Bad” Eli will show up less and less as time goes on. He will never be the precision passer that Brees is but he will use his game intelligence to out smart and out maneuver opposing defences to his benefit. He will always need talent around him that can cover for his short comings but I have every confidence that he will be a premier QB for years to come. Who knows, maybe the new stadium will be less windy.
When its 3rd and long, throw the ball past the marker.

Glad that you see the light with Gilbride.
Gilbride
I do, but not the way some folks do. I will still say that he has done some very good things the past two seasons. His in-game adjustments, and some of his game plans, leave a lot to be desired.

Right, Ed.
If he was on trial in a court of law, any attorney would love to defend him based on his won-lost record. Based on TC’s statement that the team failed to execute, it’s clear he has the HC’s full support. I’d love to see him go for a more flexible approach, but I don’t get the feeling management is going to tell him do it, or else (unless they trade for TG.) Two TEs on virtually every down could be awesome both for running and passing.
