Happy New Year, BBV Nation

Happy New Year, Big Blue View Nation!

My thanks, again, for making this the best non-newspaper affiliated New York Giants' blog on the Internet.

December, by the way was the best month for this site other than last January's insance month when we had Jessica Simpson Photo Week, and the Giants' incredible run to the Super Bowl. More than 34,000 unique visitors stopped by in December, and about 64,000 pages were viewed.

This site is still growing, and I am enjoying the ride.

Hopefully, 2009 will be as good to BBV -- and the Giants -- as 2008 was.

Ed,

Why don’t we get a bunch of good quality T-shirts made up for Big Blue View. I bet a lot of our guys would buy more than one. I know I would. We could do a retro for last year’s Super Bowl with a good quote from some ESPN talking head predicting that the Giants were done for the year or something like that. The possibilities are endless!

I've thought about it

The other thing I have thought about is having a BBV gathering next summer during training camp at UAlbany. I’d love to know how much interest there would be in getting together for a weekend. I also think I will look into the T-shirt idea.

He doesn't know it yet

But, that’s the only way he is being allowed to attend! LOL!

BBWC

I will have to figure out how to do these things. If there is enough interest, I’m sure we can pull it off.

The question is

How many of us still reside in NY/NJ?

You could probably talk to a local hotel in albany and block rooms out for a reduced rate.

Yep

Got that under control. My daughter works at one of the local hotels, so that would not be an issue.

LOL!!

Hey, you have until summer to move back.

I would come up to Albany for that.

Maybe it could end up being an annual event.
