DeAngelo Hall last night

Not sure if any of you saw the s**t show last night that is the Oakland Raiders defense, but two thougths came to mind.

1. I was a pretty big advocate of signing DeAngelo Hall.  Obviously, I am an idiot.  He continually got smoked by a rookie WR Eddie Royal (although damn fast) and at no time during that game to he seem to care that he was getting destroyed.  I am glad Reese di not listen to me.  Too bad one of our division opponents did not pony-up for Hall. 
   
2. Gibril Wilson may regret the move.  Ok, I know he got paid beau coup bucks to leave for Oakland and The Bay Area is a nice place to live, but suffering for the next 5 years with an an owner that changes coaches like he changes underwear is going to be miserable.   That misery is contagious much like winning is.

So other than some obvious giants related thoughts, I am wondering how a program like this could ever turn it around.  It is going to take more than a new coach, more than a few new player, maybe more than just watching old Al kick the bucket.  What would be your plan to turn this team around over the next several years?
