So psyched
I am sitting in my office wearing my Strahan jersey (Got to get a Tuck Jersey) so excited for the season to start. I cannot think of anything else but watching Phillips clock a few guys, intercept a ball and watching Eli connect with Plaxico.
This is going to be a fun year. At least every game I watch I get to hear, “Well the Defending Super Bowl Champs ….” Hopefully it will be followed by, “are kicking their butt today.” I guess we shall see.
Go Gints.

where to watch it?
I’m in baja. and I will miss the first quarter because I get off from work at 8. Does anyone know a web page or something to see the game? I cannot miss the beginning of the game. Help!!

The Giants LOOK AWESOME! Hope ur watching it now Serge!
Alright! How about those Giants! They cam out early and Eli looked like the MVP of last years Super Bowl! Awesome work! It’s going to be a great year!!!
Hey, I figured I would share a little tip for any fellow G-Men fans looking to go to a game at Giants Stadium this year…
If you are looking to save some money but see a game then wait till Wednesday night or the Thursday before the game. These are the days when ticket holders start to reduce ticket prices big-time on sites like StubHub, RazorGator and eSellOut… Why? Because many of the guys still holding tickets live out of the state in areas like California or Texas even and have no chance or want to attend the game BUT they would much rather take $50-$100 for their tickets instead of nothing. Think about it this way…If you tried to get tickets off a scary scalper on game day your walking around with at least $300-$500 cash without any idea of what you might get. Personally I always use eSellOut because it is independently owned and I think they tend to be a little easier to use and often more cost friendly. Check them out: http://www.esellout.com/ResultsGeneral.aspx?kwds=New+Yotk+Giants or use who you are comfortable using BUT try this method sometime and notice how much money you will save the next time you head off to a game!

Plaxico gets a new deal. I think this is good.
Hours before kickoff of tonight’s season-opener against the Redskins, Burress signed a new five-year, $35 million contract that will pay him $11 this season and keep him with the Giants through the 2012 season.
Is this confirmed? Does anyone know if this is done?
by losangelesmets on Sep 4, 2008 6:05 PM EDT 0 recs
yeah
Mike Garafolo is reporting that it’s a done deal. This is great news. Now, get out there & burn it up Plax!

That’s huge. Now maybe they can get something restructured with Antonio Pierce?
Damn I am fired up. I hope the boys come out swinging tonight.

Hey guys
Here’s to another great, safe season!
I know we all hate each other, but it’s good to know the NFC East is the most talented and most competitive division in football.
Nice to finally have real football again.

Eli
I always get a little nervous when Eli goes out there … he’s not exactly fleet of foot. None the less, it worked.

Thank God New York Giants Football is back!
I had goosebumps when Strahan held the Lombardi trophy and welcomed in the team. I pumped my fist with every amazing Plaxico catch on that first drive. And I stood up and cheered when Eli ran it in for a TD.
I’ve been waiting for this day all offseason – let the Super Bowl title defense begin!

Now that
is what Jacobs CAN do. Running over people. Fun to watch.
by ETVal on Sep 4, 2008 7:34 PM EDT 0 recs
Jacobs
+ watching him get past the D line is incredible. This is testament to the Giants O line. If Jacobs gets through and can punish the ‘Skins LB’s and DB’s we’re in GREAT shape.
by Cody K on Sep 4, 2008 7:38 PM EDT 0 recs
Why do they always take Jacobs out on short yardage?
I know he just ran for 8, but why not leave him in, hes only the biggest damn RB in the league?
Okay, just so I understand it... in your wildest fantasy, you are in hell. And you are co-running a bed and breakfast with the devil.

Plus
when Tiki was around, he was short yardage back. Doesn’t make sense to me either.

oh man. The 'skins were not ready for this tonight.
They don’t look like the can match the energy, the speed, strength of the Giants right now. I hope it continues all night. I love spags. I hope he never leaves.

I think most OCs do the same thing. They like to show how smart they can be, and they shoot themselves in the foot.

Good temp replacement, no? A guy like that who has been in the league for so long is definitely a plus.
