So psyched
I am sitting in my office wearing my Strahan jersey (Got to get a Tuck Jersey) so excited for the season to start. I cannot think of anything else but watching Phillips clock a few guys, intercept a ball and watching Eli connect with Plaxico.
This is going to be a fun year. At least every game I watch I get to hear, “Well the Defending Super Bowl Champs ….” Hopefully it will be followed by, “are kicking their butt today.” I guess we shall see.
Go Gints.

The Giants LOOK AWESOME! Hope ur watching it now Serge!
Alright! How about those Giants! They cam out early and Eli looked like the MVP of last years Super Bowl! Awesome work! It’s going to be a great year!!!
Hey, I figured I would share a little tip for any fellow G-Men fans looking to go to a game at Giants Stadium this year…
If you are looking to save some money but see a game then wait till Wednesday night or the Thursday before the game. These are the days when ticket holders start to reduce ticket prices big-time on sites like StubHub, RazorGator and eSellOut… Why? Because many of the guys still holding tickets live out of the state in areas like California or Texas even and have no chance or want to attend the game BUT they would much rather take $50-$100 for their tickets instead of nothing. Think about it this way…If you tried to get tickets off a scary scalper on game day your walking around with at least $300-$500 cash without any idea of what you might get. Personally I always use eSellOut because it is independently owned and I think they tend to be a little easier to use and often more cost friendly. Check them out: http://www.esellout.com/ResultsGeneral.aspx?kwds=New+Yotk+Giants or use who you are comfortable using BUT try this method sometime and notice how much money you will save the next time you head off to a game!

Plaxico gets a new deal. I think this is good.
Hours before kickoff of tonight’s season-opener against the Redskins, Burress signed a new five-year, $35 million contract that will pay him $11 this season and keep him with the Giants through the 2012 season.
Is this confirmed? Does anyone know if this is done?

Hey guys
Here’s to another great, safe season!
I know we all hate each other, but it’s good to know the NFC East is the most talented and most competitive division in football.
Nice to finally have real football again.

Thank God New York Giants Football is back!
I had goosebumps when Strahan held the Lombardi trophy and welcomed in the team. I pumped my fist with every amazing Plaxico catch on that first drive. And I stood up and cheered when Eli ran it in for a TD.
I’ve been waiting for this day all offseason – let the Super Bowl title defense begin!

You've got to be pretty happy, here.
The Gnts are dominating this game. Yeah, they’re still shaking of some rust, but Madden (as much as I can’t stand him as a commentator) is right about your lines. Both o and d are picking up where they left off. And Jacobs looks like a faster Okoye with better lateral movement.
As Mr. Sloan always says, there is no "I" in team, but there is an "I" in pie. And there's an "I" in meat pie. Anagram of meat is team... I don't know what he's talking about. --Shaun of the Dead

Manning says "Ohama" a lot
Is that a blocking scheme or a signal for a play change?

A worrying thought
If this game isn’t over by 10:00, will they cut away to the RNC?

I’m a little concerned that he sometimes seems to be locked in on Burress to the exclusion of other receivers

part of it
is that things weren’t going well, so he started to lock in on Plax. But I hear ya. The passing offense started off hot, but has been anything but since.

Or your could say
the game isn’t as close as the score. Don’t worry: you guys aren’t losing this one, and it’s a good tuneup for tougher stuff down the road.

Well
Good game by the D, good quarter and a half by the O. Time to beat a dead horse and say we still need to see some consistency out of our offense. But, overall a good start to our season. Beat a division foe, showed a good pass rush, ran the ball well, and showed flashes of the wealth of talent on O.

Samuels looked contrite.
I think it was a bad deal and no one likes to see an injury at the end of a finished game. It was unfortunate, I hope Kiwi is ok. That said, I obviously don’t agree that one of our players should die as a result.

Final Thoughts
As well as the Giants moved the ball, they didn’t score nearly as often as they should have. You’d expect they would have gotten more points, considering Jacobs and Burress had great days. O-line looked good as well.
Defensively, the Redskins offense never looked comfortable passing the ball, and the Giants did a good job limiting Portis’s effectiveness.
Overall, a solid day for the Giants, although they could do better.

Let's hope Kiwi's okay.
Glad first game was with ’skins. Some good things, some bad. Glad we have Plax sewed up for five years. Bottom line: a win is a win is a win.

Wouldn't
be Giants victory if wasn’t close…..Just hope Kiwanuka is OK. Really, for the Giants, this one didn’t even seem close. No fourth quarter come back or nothing…..maybe the big blue ulcer won’t come around every game this season…

Finally caught up to real time
Well, the final score was a lot closer than the actual game. The Giants really dominated this thing. but i would like to see them put 7’s on the board instead of 3’s. Jacobs looked great, although i was disappointed in the lack of Ahmad Bradshaw. Tuck looked like the best player on the defense i thought, which was good to see. And you can’t say enough about Plax.
A few too many penalties and the red zone offense were the only real negatives, unless of course Kiwi is hurt, which would be a devastating loss. Lets say a few prayers for that leg tonight.
Finally, that opening ceremony with Strahan was incredible and gave me goosebumps.

S.P.
You’ve got to be one of the classier fans out there. (Even for a moderator!) most fans after a loss would just dissapear, especially cowboy fans , you’ve probably had them too. They’ll get better.
We're only gonna score 17 points?
